Question for le crew...
If a rep hooks someone up with a free product for review, or whatever reason, it's a nice gesture to publicly acknowledge this generosity right?
What if a rep sees someone ask about Product X, offers them their choice of Product X flavor to try, a user provides their address and never gets a thing even 2 months later.
Is a public call out necessary in the interest of fairness? Asking for a friend, of course.

I usually give a shout out in reviews where I was hooked up, to the rep and company, partly to be nice and also so people know I got the product for free.
As for the second part, had plenty of times when I was told something would be sent and it wasn't. Never called anyone out though, it was a free offer and not something I had done anything to 'earn' or was entitled to. If it comes then cool, if not, then ah well, not like I am out any money.Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

I have had the same. I have also received more than was expected.
Yeah pretty much. I figure once you've taken that step, 'they' have it for sure in case they didn't already.
You can always get a box at like the UPS Store or similar, you can even put pseudonyms that you intend to use on the form when you rent it so they aren't like WTFisthis (not that it should matter, it goes to your box-address regardless of name)...really comes in handy. You don't have to give out real name or street address for freebies like that, you can order stuff when you might be out of town etc when it arrives, you can require signature confirmation and somebody will always be there, you can receive things without significant other being aware, etc. Not to be confused with a PO box at the post office, the UPS box will receive basically any shipment from anybody

Having tried numerous cereal flavored proteins, I felt obligated to post about the Black Magic Supply protein in Chocolate PB Puffs flavor:
Label:
Spoiler!
I think this might be the one to top now, rivaling if not replacing my previous favorite Ghost Peanut Butter Crunch for cereal flavored protein powders.
The trick here is that you get a very subtle, almost corn puff flavor underneath that is distinctly Reese's Peanut Butter Puffs versus the PB Cap'n Crunch note that the Ghost carries, while boasting a smooth balance of peanut butter and chocolate that blends together better than any CPB I've tried before.
Two notable ingredients are both peanut flour and cocoa, so there is no artificial or chemical aftertaste, as well as no "sharpness," something I do find with MAN's proteins as one example.
Finally, the blend of WPC, casein, isolate, and egg protein gives it a fluffy texture that further contributes to the smooth taste, probably assisted further by the MCTs, while also having lactase and papain to help with digestion (lactose intolerant here, no issues).
When I saw what were obviously Reese's Puffs for a flavor, I had to try it, and it's an easy recommendation.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

^I feel like I would be tempted to just non-stop drink that until the tub was gone. BRB mixing up a gallon jug of it.

It's a remarkable protein, honestly. I use them to make protein pudding, and it's easily among the best for chocolate + PB, but what sells it for me is the cereal flavor note that makes opening up the tub feel like being a kid and opening up a box of Reese's Puffs.
If there's one thing I hate, it's when they aim high with the little picture on the tub and the knock-off branding names, but it's clearly lacking what makes a cereal/cereal milk different from just [insert cereal type].
I'm still sticking with Hi-Tech's Precision Protein being the Cinnamon Toast Crunch flavor (they get the rice flour base down in the flavor somehow), and while Ghost PB cereal is really good, I feel like the Black Market Chocolate PB Puffs is a bit richer yet smooth (that is the only way I can describe it) of the two. Probably the blend of proteins + MCTS making it creamy.I will stand firm, I refuse to kneel - The fury in me is divine

Public call out in necessary. Odds are, they posted on the forum for you/your friend to PM them or publicly stated they'd hook them up. Well, the public has the image this rep hooked them up, making the rep and the company look good. If the rep or company skimped and didn't send the product, then publicly it's only fair you/your friend would bring it up. Maybe not as much of a call out as correcting the information the public has.
"Oh, I remember Jim Bob was going to get X product because he was curious about it. Now that he confirmed he never got a chance to try it after being told he'd be getting it to try, this rep/brand is pretty lousy. Don't think I'll buy from them."Progressive overload + progressive eating = gains. Simple as that!
