    Newbie trying to gain mass. Forcing yourself to eat more gets easier, right?

    Still struggling to get anywhere near 2,000 calories a day. Tips?

    Calories in a Big Mac = 563
    Large McDonald fries = 510
    Large McDonald milkshake = 488

    There's 1561 calories just for lunch. Throw in a large Coke and you're at 1871. You're welcome. If you're trying to eat "bro foods", there's your problem.

    This to an extent. Tons of foods out there with a good amount of calories. PBJ and glass of whole milk is another example.

    Yeah, for sure.

    OP, I'm not encouraging a diet of fast food. I am encouraging you to forget the idea of "clean eating" or a "bro diet" consisting of chicken, broc****, and oats. Eat real food - in fact ANY food - in moderation.

    Yes, it gets easier.

    But the best suggestion, as most people here gave you is to find calorie dense foods.
    Fatty meats, peanut-butter (sandwiches), nuts, full fat products instead of low fat variants.

    & another one -> Drink what you can't eat.
    Not specifically talking about sugar loaded drinks, that's just **** (IMO, my body doesn't take processed sugars well).
    Shakes with added stuff like banana, PB, oats, et cetera. Fruit smoothies. Full fat milk.
    - Slow progress, is progress.
    - Losing fat is a marathon, not a race.
    - Take care of your body, you've only got one.
    - Progressive overload + good form.
