No.
They aren’t magic potions that affect muscles only. They’re high calorie products designed to help you get calories in.
If you’re already overweight and looking to lose body fat, they’d be the last thing I’d be looking at (though I wouldn’t touch them regardless of body composition and goals)Strong & Unstable

You're worried about getting fat when you already have a "huge amount of body fat?"
That doesn't really make sense. Sounds like you need to focus on your diet and start losing fat. Your health markers are likely poor, so losing fat needs to be your main priority.. not gaining muscle. If you start lifting you can add a small amount of muscle while focusing on fat loss.Psych & handcuffs

You have to look at the entire picture and not one product. Supplements are heavily marketed, but do nothing compared to what is typically believed.
Supplement a good diet: don't diet on supplements.

Can you use a pro-gainer without gaining fat?
Yes, if you stay below your caloric maintenance for the day.
Should you consume a pro-grainer on a cut to lose weight?
No.
On a caloric deficit to lose weight, you're already restricting your calories. You'll want to eat whole foods with volume to feel satiated.
Why would you waste your available calories/macros on liquid?

This post absolutely NAILED it (reps!). This particular supplement will not make you fat, excess calories will make you fat.
But with that said, this product is more for gaining mass (muscle mass) so it's better utilized when your in a "bulk/muscle gaining" mode rather than a cut or leaning out mode.
