I don't know why but I have Naughty Dog on this pedestal that I can't accept can fall like Bioware. I see some sort of passion + allowance of creative freedom from all of their studio videos that built a level of trust between their fans(me).
That being said, you're absolutely right. There's maybe 5 game studios left that have this trust and it's a huge shame if any of them end up going the Bioware routeMS, Computer Science

Bioware made DAO and ME1 that I loved, so I was day 1 buy for DA2,DA3,ME2,ME3 and each installment was worse and worse. It wasnt until ME4 that it was untouchable.
One game doesnt make a companies track record go out the window. Its the succession of game after game. NDs put out quality games since they put out UCLast edited by E-Go; 10-10-2019 at 06:16 PM.

In the footage/reveal I saw they literally put it front and center. Just calling it how it is, I'm sure the game will be just fine, I couldn't care any less, I don't even own a PS, just saying that's what they pushed before anything else at the time I saw the reveal. They're clearly intent on normalizing it though, you do realize that at least, right? Not to mention the asian boy/girl thing that was on stage with them and in the game as well.

Again, you replace Ellie with Rambo, your take away is not that they are putting Rambo's straightness front and center. You'd just think, "oh a revenge story".
I had gay people in my family and I was really into women fuking women ever since I knew how to jerk my dink, so it's not something that had to be "normalized" for me. It's already pretty fuking normal.
I agree with you about the asian though. How dare they put that sub human trash race in my video game. Liberal SJW kunts. At least there are no blacks tho, amirite? Can't be normalizing minorities. It's bad enough that Ellie's girlfriend looks like she's italian or some chit, she definitely has a hairy butthole. I'm so tired of video games having races other than straight white people. 1. Whats wrong with the Asian?
2. What you call normalizing, is what others would call normal. This medium, along with all the other mediums has always struggled with representation (hell even NDs had to face backlash when they hired a white VA for Ross in UC, who's black). It's only recently that its gotten better and as soon as progress is made, people get outraged and complain about forced diversity. Literally any diversity is forced to them, even if its organic like this (one more time for those in the back SHE WAS GAY, OR BECOMING GAY IN TLOU 1). Its not normalizing. Its simply is. Please list any major video game thats had a main character thats gay. I'll wait. I'm sure that list isn't very long.
3. I've explained this on a previous post. ND has said that this is a story of hate, whereas 1 was a story of love (Joel's love for Elle as a daughter that develops over the course of the game. He goes from trying to get rid of her at every stage to loving her at the end, making a huge decision based on that. Not spoiling it for those unaware). How do you get someone to hate? You give them something to love, and you tear it away. When the first trailer hit (her in the house playing guitar) everyone thought Joel was dead, and thus her motivation. We see now, that it will be another character that she loves and, i suspect, loses. Its pretty clear to me based off the last trailer that group takes her from Elle in a violent fashionPSN E-Go

The Rambo example is dumb as hell, the point is that **** doesn't even belong there, you think I'm alone in seeing that they put it front and center in their earlier reveal? I would think that it's stupid and doesn't need to be in there. In case I missed it, (and I very well may have), please send me the trailer to one of the Rambo movies in which Rambo is slow dancing with his broad and making out with her while people look on before they even get into the revenge plot. How about putting the same scene into a Jurassic Park movie before we even see what the plot is about? Terminator? Aliens? A movie about WW2?
As for the rest of it, I'm going to assume you're not dumb enough to have the point I was making actually fly over your head, so spare me the straight white people nonsense. They're trying to normalize aberrations. Your poor sarcasm is appreciated though, really. Can't even call something what it is anymore.AP5 / PRO-Fap

What are you calling aberrations?
Love and loss are the biggest revenge motivations. What makes Punisher go ape **** on the mob? His loss of his family. Why does John Wick go after the Russians? They killed his dog. Why does Liam do what he does in Taken? They took his daughter. Loss of a loved one is the basis of any good revenge story, thats pretty simple to seePSN E-Go

I gave you the benefit of the doubt, but I see now you actually are dumb. The aberration is what's featured front and center in the cinematic portion of the reveal trailer. Do you know what aberration means?
Look up the actor for the Lev character, Ian Alexander, moron. They're definitely creating buzz and pushing that bravery. Asians are not aberrations, I can't tell if you've got issues with comprehension and common sense, or if you're just pretending to be stupid. Are you blissfully unaware of Neil Druckmann?
No more Rambo comparisons? Is there even a Rambo trailer where he's making out with his broad before the plot is even hinted at or did you just make that up?AP5 / PRO-Fap

Are you calling the Asian characters subplot an aberration because it doesnt have anything to do with Joel and Elle? If thats the case, you have no idea if it does or doesn't. Its a subplot that will connect in some way (same villains, the MLF or whatever they are called).
lololololololololololol "I'm wrong here, but I'm right about everything else I was saying, which was entirely the thing I was wrong about."
Also, yes. There is a part of the latest trailer where Elle is caught with someone and you hear someone die
Its funny to me because when we cycle out the old people screaming AGENDA!, we get new ones.PSN E-Go
