good call. being able to chase your kids and grandkids around someday is more important than a couple more trophies. I found it is/was a hard adjustment transitioning from a powerlifter to an average joe lifter. Adjusting the diet is the hardest because for years because you're probably pumping yourself full of triple the calories you actually need to maintain. But once your knees stop hurting when you walk up a flight of steps is priceless.

Sometimes when I do heavy cardio for a few days in a row I wake up with lower back screaming at me. I think my bed is too hard or too soft or too something. It only hurts when I do cardio and I sleep on my stomach.
Didn't get to the gym today but I did play with my kids for a couple hours in the pool and I threw them up into the water many times that I practically had a shoulder workout.
I'm going out of town for the weekend so I'll have to see what the hotel we're staying at has to offer.

Back from my weekend away. It went really well. I ate okay, but not great. I got a chest workout in late last night at my my mom's apartment weight room. It's just s small gym but it had some dumbbells and a bench so I did flat db presses, inclined db presses, and db flyes. Not has good as usual, but sometimes you do what you can do.
I'm about half way through my second bottle of Clear Muscle now. I like it. I'm not sure how much. The next couple weeks will be deciding. I have nothing negative to say it. I've noticed strength gain and motivation, but I'm hoping I see huge gains in the next few weeks.

Upper back, traps, and some random leg sets yesterday. Felt good.
I feel like my shoulders are really starting to look good, but my gut just ruins the mirror. It's not that bad, it's just hard to see improvement on ones' self. I should have done before and after pics. My scale isn't moving much in either direction but as long as my weights keep going up I know I'm going in the right direction even if my scales says I'm staying the same.
I'm off for a two day camping trip today. I hate camping. It will be fun with the girls. It's gonna be hot! I'll be back to training on Thursday.

Back from camping. It wasn't horrible. Not as hot as I thought it would be, but twice as buggy. I didn't get bit up much (my kids sure did) but maybe it's because I haven't been eating much sugar lately. I've heard mosquitoes go after sweet blood. Probably just an old story told by moms to keep their kids from eating too much sugar. But for some reason, I dont have any big bites.
Glad to be home and back to training. I'll hit the gym later for sure.

I did some arms today in the gym but I really focused on getting a good cardio session in. Then I came home and cut the lawn in the blazing sun which really got me sweating.
My arms are looking good. LIke I said the other day, arms and shoulders are coming along nicely. Just got get some ab work in consistently. I usually do my ab routine during the Indian's game. It takes my mind off the pain a little.

Lat day. It's the day I look forward to least, as I state once a week. Today was a good session though. I didn't do a lot of weight but I hit good form and added a couple extra sets. Started with 30 minutes on the bike which got me good and warmed up. While I was doing lat pulls I noticed how in shape my arms look. I'm really starting to cut down and see some definition. I'm slowly but surely becoming a believer in clear muscle. And I have an entire full bottle left! Can't wait!

Hey Marshall, what are your thoughts on the Black Onyx testx3? Something popped up about it and it looks amazing.
I'm taking a rest day today. I was up late last night and we had an early morning for my daughter's softball game. Heading to my mom's for dinner. If I feel better later I might sneak off for a cardio session. Shoulders tomorrow for sure!

Today is gonna be a great day! My wife is taking our daughters out to a family friend's lakehouse for two days. That's not why it's gonna be a great day, but it will be nice to have some alone time for once. I love my family but you guys know how it goes. I'm gonna be working for just a few hours this morning and then it's all free time. I always try to get a couple house projects done while the wife and kids are away, but I should have plenty of time for play. By play I mean lifting. I didn't go yesterday so I should be rested and raring to go.
Chest and cardio!
I'll post some feedback later.

another good session today, although, I had a headache so I didn't push myself as hard as I was hoping. I get these headaches once every couple weeks and it makes training a real pain in the taint. I did what I could. My cardio session was really good again. I love the way my clothes are fitting me lately

I find that doing strong cardio makes it easier to pass on unnecessary sweets and junk food. If I'm gonna bust my ass like that, I'm not going to ruin it by eating excessive junk.
I felt kinda blah all day today because my headache got really bad last night and I didn't sleep much at all. It was similar to a migraine which always has an effect on me the next day. I did my cardio and then did some forearms and calves. Better than nothing.
TOmorrow night I have a poker night with some buddies so I'm sure I'll eat and drink like crap. Beer, bourbon, and wings. Gotta have fun once in a while.

As expected. Too much food. Too much beer. Lost all my money. A good time was had by all. It was a good group of guys.
Now I'm heading out to a dinner party in honor of a childhood buddy who died in active duty. Today would have been his 35th birthday, so his parents invited all the guys over for dinner. I'll stay for a while but I'm planning to hit the gym sometime tonight. I think I'll do lats tonight.
Yesterday I did an arms session before the poker night with 30 minutes cardio. If it wasn't for all these delicious gatherings this week, I'd feel really good about myself. But you gotta live life.
Hey Marshall, you remember the old school cell tech? I remember taking cell tech and nitro tech when I was in college on the track team. It was my preferred creatine product for sure. I loved the grape and the orange. I think it came in lemon lime too but I never tried it.
Don't know why I just thought of that.

I'm feeling good today! I ate well today (one meal wasn't so great but the others were healthy). I took a quick power nap and then I hit the gym for a great lat session. I was racing through the gym today. My cardio also keeps getting better. I was watching TV and lost track of time. I just kept jogging and jogging and sweating.
My shoulders and chest are looking much fuller than I've seen in a long while. I gotta think it's because the Clear Muscle is doing it's thing.
I'm fresh out of protein though. I gotta pick up a cheap tub from the store tomorrow so I can keep the growing going.

I made the dumb decision to run up at the high school track and do bleacher steps after. Then I ran sprints on the football field. It was dang hot.
Then I went to the gym and dragged myself around a bit. I did upper back and traps. I guess it was a good session considering I was so wiped from the cardio session.
