Jordan 6-0 in Finals. LeRunnerUp 3-6 (swept twice). There is no argument anymore

Only the most delusional of Bronsexuals will think LeRoidRage can even touch Jordan anymore. Just because he beat a bunch of Leastern Conference teams to make more finals means nothing when he gets destroyed almost every year in them. Seriously, go look at the teams these last years he's played in the ECF, they are ALL garbage

Oh and let us never forget LeChoke losing in the Finals to a team with literally only Dirk when he had prime D Wade and Bosh on his team. 8 points in a Finals game btw. Just sad.

    6<9 is relevant.

You have to make the argument Lebron's 6 finals losses hurt him because he played poorly. If not, it's a benefit his team got to the finals more than Jordans.

And to add insult to injury he has been handed a free trip to the finals each year.

2011 post season performance IMO automatically ruled him out from GOAT status forever. How easily people forget.

how many people have actually said Lebron > MJ??

I can only really name 1 or 2 so the thread is kind of irrelevant since the vast majority of people don't think that.

Jerry West is a legitimate legend, one of the best to ever play the game. This whole "greatest of all time" argument pretty much comes down to whoever you happen to like the most, there is too many great players of the past who can make a good argument for that.

lebron crusing to finals in the east isn't impressive. he almost lost to the pacers this year on his hand picked team, any of the west teams except portland would have smashed the cavs in round 1.

and that's on one of the most expensive teams ever, not on a team where smush parker and chris mihm are the 2nd and 3rd best players

To me it was no argument that Jordan has had a greater career so far. However, Lebron isn't done yet. And the competition Lebron has faced in the finals is simply unrivaled. I for one would just like to see where this goes. He can't take them down with Cleveland and if he does it'll be the greatest feat we've ever seen in sports. But he should move, for the good of the NBA because this was just retarded to behold. But there isn't a single team where he could go where he'd put himself in a favorited position. He can only better himself, but he'd stil be far from the level where Golden State is. If he could repeat in the next two years, it could be a conversation again. But by all means, you surely can compare the two in terms of impact. I mean, what Lebron has showed us the last three years isn't anything short of legendary.

He hasn't got that many years left in him, we should really enjoy watching this man do what he does. Game 4 wasn't anything great but is that enough to dismiss every other game, bar one, that he played in the PO's?

Imagine being able to watch Jordan/Senna/Ronaldo and focusing on hating on them whilst pretending to love the game they play itself. Lebron will go down as a legend and he has made a huge contribution to the sport already. And of course you can be critical of him, but the blind hate some people have for him is simply insane.

Not sure how you can say this team “was hand picked” when Kyrie and Wade were dealt away. Given the choice I’m pretty sure that he’d have wanted both of those guys for a postseason run.

You have to make the argument Lebron's 6 finals losses hurt him because he played poorly. If not, it's a benefit his team got to the finals more than Jordans.
One of those stats is much more relevant than the other.

To be honest, I very rarely see people putting Lebron before Jordan. Even Cleveland fans. At some point Lebron actually was looking to be on course to beat Jordan to the Nr. 1 spot and comparisons really did make sense. But have we really seen that lately? His win against Golden State did warrant some credit in that department but Shannon Sharpe is the only dude I've seen putting in some effort to put Lebron before Jordan. And even then, in terms of careers Jordan wins it hands down but in terms of ability, Lebron's dominance and more well rounded ability still allow room for discussion purely 1v1. And some people actually serve some cool insights there as well.

Hot dog it's the tired rings argument again. Bill Russell 11 rings as the man. Undisputed GOAT. Almost 2x as good as someone with 6 rings.

Big dick Horry 7 rings. Bob Cousey 6 rings, just as good as ole number 23. I moved the goalposts to meet my criteria so these are all facts.
