Threads like these truly are a waste of time. It repeatedly comes down to a group of people thinking that their attributes automatically mean that another group should find them attractive.

I have said it before so I'll say it again: as a man, there are no 5'1" or whatever women that will ever attract me again, now that I have spent many years tasting what it's like to be with tall, leggy fit women (now woman, as married). Every negative reaction to that statement is simply cope: (i) 'you're cutting out a lot of potentially interesting people'; (ii) 'you're overly judgmental'; (iii) you're discriminating (based on height) - umm, so what? Why do people try to dictate what other people find attractive?

Last time I checked my name wasn't Grace Fisher so "women" don't prefer Dad bods.


The only 2 points I give any merit are that;

a. slightly squishier bodies may be more comfortable to lie on, and

Total agreement that the guy on right doesn't have what I'd consider a dad bod, and those are good examples of who does and what it looks like. I think something between right and middle would be almost perfect as long as the legs match the upper body.

Sounds like a lot of cope to me. Some girls may have some kind of abnormal attraction to fat dudes. Just like some dudes have an attraction to fat or obese chicks. But they are far from the norm.


Females typically like the 12-18% body-fat range. How much muscle mass your carrying below that is just dependent. At a certain point getting super shredded or super jacked is just more about what you want to look like anyways.
