Are my goals achieveable with my diet?

    Hello,

I currently weigh 160.2lbs and my goal is to reach about 145 by early October this year. I have a skinny fat body.

I am given an allowance of 1700 calories per day for extreme fat loss but usually only consume around 1300-1500. My diet is somewhat clean, I am eating good, it’s when I check my macros I get a bit confused. I am given 50% carbs, 30% protein and 20% fat.

I am usually going over my protein goals, and over my carb goals by maybe 5-7% each day. My fat % is usually spot on give or take 1%.

I am just wondering if I continued to diet like this and go to the gym doing mostly cardio and some days weights 3/4 times a week, are my goals realistically achievable? I want to lose the skinny fat body type and start to look less “soft”

Thanks for reading, all advice appreciated

Don't attempt to lose more than 1% of your bodyweight per week - otherwise a lot of it could be muscle. So you'll end up still skinny fat but smaller.

You should be doing mostly weight training to prevent muscle loss - not mostly cardio (which doesn't prevent muscle loss)

I agree with Laszlo, how tall are you?
    - Slow progress, is progress.
    - Losing fat is a marathon, not a race.
    - Take care of your body, you've only got one.
    - Progressive overload + good form.

Losing muscle will make you look even softer so up your calories.
    Spike92 is 15.
^ place this in your sig to remind the world that Spike92 is indeed 15 and will never be anything other than 15.

When im not hungry I eat. When Im tired I train. When I feel like giving up I push harder.

Should I still eat within a deficit or up them enough so they’re at maintaining level?
