    Binging

    Need motivation to stop binging.

I don't buy the food but other family members do. I've asked them to hide it from me, and they roll their eyes. I got them to stop buying sweets, but it's the salty snacks veggie sticks, Triscuits, tortilla chips that do me in about once every week or two, and blow any progress.

At times it's when I skip dinner, so I know that eating regular meals is key.

Sure it is key. Basically, abnormal eating (skipping meals, fasting, severely restricting foods/calories) encourages abnormal eating (binging, purging).

Nothing will motivate you to stop binging. You binge because of unconscious anxiety; it's a compulsive behavior that distracts you from the anxiety.

Manage your anxiety; manage your issues, and the binging will stop itself.

Any attempt to fix this through will power alone will drive your crazy.

Definitely. I have to eat regular meals or else I get so hungry.

Seek professional, in-person counseling for your disordered eating. Nothing else you read on any internet forum can help you.

    Good luck.
    No brain, no gain.
