    Simple question: is Kinobody legit?

Is Kinobody’s Greg O’Gallagher unto something? Do his 3 main programs (Warrior Shredding, Greek God, and Superhero) going to get you the great results that he is preaching and showing? Pack on all that muscle and stay lean?

I’ve seen so many mixed views on this that i dont know. So i decided to ask what i consider to be one of the most informative snd helpful fitness communities out there; Bodybuilding.com.

Does Kinobody’s **** work, at least would it for me? My main goal is Hypertrophy And staying lean, but I’d love to get stronger too. (I’m wary of caloric deficits because I’m still growing). I’m an actor myself so the ‘Hollywood physique’ is my goal. If it doesn’t really work, then what would be a good program to follow for my goals?

    Thank you!

Ps. If it helps, ive only been training properly (on an actual program, StrongLifts 5x5, with correct diet) for a few months. I’m currently 18, 6’1,178lbs, my 1rms being 200 bench, 320 dl, 285 squat.

A lot of programs will work if you put forth consistent effort and exertion over time both in the gym and the kitchen.

A "Hollywood physique" takes several years of effort to achieve.

The only real difference between Kinobody's programs and the thousands of other programs out there isn't in the program itself, but in the marketing.

    ignore kinobody..
go look up marten berkhans "lean gains"
its the work he plagiarized, bastardised and charged for.
    the original stuff is superior.
    FMH crew - Couch.

If a post sounds like N=1 and that they have no experience coaching anyone but them selves?

Do the math. You ain't that person, their experience probably isn't going to be yours. Can still be useful for inspiration - try things, follow athlete response and track trends In your training.

When you're a beginner, just about any program will work, at least for a while.

As far as that guy's programs, or anyone else who is shilling training/nutrition information, remember; there's nothing new under the sun, and the same things that worked to make Eugen Sandow big and strong over 100 years ago still work just as well today.

Stick with what you've been doing, follow it to the letter, work hard, don't miss meals, and get plenty of sleep. Keno-what's-his-name ain't got nuthin' on you.
    No brain, no gain.

"The fitness and nutrition world is a breeding ground for obsessive-compulsive behavior. The irony is that many of the things people worry about have no impact on results either way, and therefore aren't worth an ounce of concern."--Alan Aragon

Just about every program that has:

REASONABLE volume & progressive overload in place, works like a charm.
    - Slow progress, is progress.
    - Losing fat is a marathon, not a race.
    - Take care of your body, you've only got one.
    - Progressive overload + good form.

As someone who used to listen to the guy, I'll tell you this - there's nothing revolutionary about what he's saying even though he makes it sound like that. Its basic exercise science. If you're doing intermittent fasting then you're giving yourself less time to eat and increasing the possibility of being in a caloric deficit, so you'll lose weight. Nothing brand new there, he just made a big deal out of using the term,'intermittent fasting' and the whole soda water, black coffee thing.

Similarly ,there's nothing special about his programs either. If you increased the volume and focus spent on your shoulders and stopped the rest of your work while keeping the calories constant then initially you'll see tiny increased growth there and then soon enough you're run into shoulder and posture issues. Again, its already been figured out. Its just that he chose to bring all these little pieces together and call it the hollywood physique whereas everyone else said,'Eat, train, sleep then cut down in the future".

The only thing I'll say that he makes a good point out of is the value of progressive overload on the compounds rather than using a million isolation movements.

Long story short, his work is nothing revolutionary, don't throw your money away.

nothing he says really is anything revolutionary, although his peddling and swearing by intermittent fasting is kind of annoying

you can find the same chit for free. don't know his programs, but I'd imagine it would still work provided you are a beginner who is consistent with training and nutrition.

Marketing scam. He might aswel copied fierce 5 from this forum and called it K5. At least he would have a decent program then.

He built most of his mass when he was a teen, early 20's.

He claims to have gained 10lbs with his 'new' program.. Duh, that's what happens when you finally start training legs after 5 years of not training them.

Intermittent fasting is what I did all my life, never been keen on breakfast.

Caloric deficit = weight loss = mind = blown..

You can find his programs in pdf online if you search for it if you really want to take a look at it.
