    Would I know for 100% sure if I had a hernia ?

(Before you read this, keep in mind I have anxiety issues) So for the past week and a half, I’ve suddenly become very paranoid that I may have one or develop a hernia from weight lifting (also in fear that I would begin to see amazing results then have to stop lifting because of a hernia) I’ve self examined myself multiple times, there’s no obvious swelling or bumps other than maybe lymph nodes under the skin. What has driven me to be paranoid about this is that sometimes I get random suspicious aches in different areas that last maybe 1 or 2 seconds then go away. For example , perfectly to the right of my belly button (not below, or above, or right at it). There’s been no sharp sudden severe pain , and maybe once in my life have I ever had a sharp pain around my belly button. just once in a great awhile I’ll notice a very slight discomfort there for a second. Is it possible that this is all in my head? Could it just be that I’m stressed, or could it be anxiety aches? I work an office job so could sitting for long periods of times cause random aches like that? Could it be has build up? (When I diet, I poop less and pass less gas) Or am I just a hypochondriac? Help

You are hyper focusing on what is worrying you which makes it manifest even more intensely on your body. Best thing to do is go see a doctor, ask for a thorough exam, which will ease your worries greatly. I have used magnesium powder with great success in easing anxiety (product called "calm" by natural vitality).

You're being a hypochondriac. Looks more like you're looking for an excuse not to lift. Maybe this sport isn't for you. Find one you enjoy.
