Hey guys, I'm brand new to weight lifting and need some advice. Been bulking for about 2.5 months now. I'm 29 years old and decided being skinny sucks so I've been following ICF 5x5 and gaining about 1 pound a week.
I'm 6'4" with a smallish bone structure. I started 2 and a half months ago at 182 really skinny and weak. I'm 193 now and my strength has been going up pretty fast. Did 225 on bench yesterday for 1 full rom.
However, I feel my body still looks pretty bad. Should I keep up with my current 1 pound a weak, or change it to .5? I don't mind becoming a little skinny fat or fat in the process if I am gaining strength and size. I can always put later I guess and look solid I hope.
What would you guys say my body fat percentage is right now? Also, should I keep things the same with my diet and program? Thank you!

Keep going as is man. You look around 14% to me; which isn't too bad. You could afford to bulk to around 220-240 and then cut. Put on some good size while it's coming on. I would continue to shoot for .75-1 lb per week weight gain. Sure, there will be some fat but think long term here; just cut later.

Welcome to the beanpole club, 6'5" and currently 205 here. You're pretty lean and your frame can easily support a bulk into the 220-230 range. 2-3 lbs a month should be your target.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

This is what I did.... 6'4" 251 lbs pro wrestler here... Kinda interested in seeing what I can cut down to so I have an IFBB Pro (Open Div) coach doing my nutrition and training splits. Kinda want to see if I can have a future doing some physique as well as wrestling. Never had abs before, looking forward to it...
To the OP.... Bulk... If you train your ass off go smash some McDonalds and gain some weight. If you start getting "fat" then chill out on the bulking food a bit.Professional Wrestler
