I'm good on that. I don't do marathon running with weights.

The only thing you're going to do with those high reps are prohibit protein synthesis within the muscle fibers thus making them weaker and smaller.

Everything that I do is less than 5 reps and for the most part only 1 or 2 reps.

6'0 tall and 265 here. Natural muscle.

You want to stay below the lactic acid threshold in everything. That means no distance running. No jogging. No 100 meter dashes. No 400 meter dashes.

Train like a linebacker to look like a linebacker.

Anything over 4 seconds all out is a waste of time.

The human body can't maintain top speed over 4 seconds before lactic acid kicks in.

Lactic acid doesn't make you stronger. It makes you weaker. It literally eats the muscle from the inside out.

You're never going to reach your full potential with that type of training.

Yeah you might be strong. But you could be on a different level of strength if you did things the right way.

I wanted to try this, I got to the gym 20 minutes before it closed, I knew I couldn't do a real workout.
First set I cranked out 20, then the following sets I did 5-8 each set, sometimes 9 or 10, sometimes like 4-6 lol. but anyway, I did 105 pull ups, did 5 extra to make up for couple bs form ones I messed up on.

I do mine slightly wider than shoulder width apart. I don't go wide arm, for awhile I was having a painful click in left shoulder doing wide, or the angled grips. I do shoulder width + straight bar= fixed all my pull up issues.

First time ive ever done 100 pull ups. I do 3 sets of 10 pull ups like 3 days a week at end of workouts normally. Feels good!. I have the actual numbers written down but whatever. Took about a minute between sets the longer I waited, was able to crank a few out.

cliff- did 100 pull ups, took about 20 minutes. 5'8 150lbs Prob could of shaved 5 minutes off maybe, there was an old guy there talking to me on my breaks. chatterbox he was.

damn my **** is weak af compared to your guy's times. here I was feeling boss for 100 pull ups in 20 minutes and here I see you guys did them in 7 and 9 minutes.

did 60 today...Was trying for 100 but it was taking longer than I though and I had to be somewhere.

I had a problem with pacing myself. I ended up going to slow trying not to wear myself out.

Definitely love pull-ups but I don’t agree with craning your neck backwards like that to point your chin up.

It is a balance between taking short rest in the beginning longer rest sets towards the end. While taking longer rests the more reps you do. I like the pyramid sets you can the rest between the beginning sets are about the same.

You should try doing full reps, you'll probably have better results

At the end of this I hope you do a before/after of your back. Just curious what the results would be.
