LR's 12-Week Cut with Clear Muscle and a side of Protein dense Cheesecakes

    The Intro

I want to thank team Muscletech for the opportunity to log 3 bottles which is equivalent to their studies' worth for their studies. That's pretty cool and generous on their part. I used Clear Muscle shortly after its introduction a few yrs back so I got pretty good results, noticeable improvements in strength and size when I was bulking.

The Clear Muscle difference being the catalyst here called: betaTOR, which studies and anecdotal feedback say is responsible for less muscle fatigue, increases in strength and so on.

I won't be changing too much from where I am currently in terms of training or anything, Im in a recomp phase but going on 2 high carb days. Eventually it will go to a cut.

It will largely depend on what I am training that day, how I am feeling and if I feel like I might need it but generally staying in the 2 or 3 high carb days which for me is over 250 and usually keep it in the 120- sub range. Moderate calories, high carbs and low fats.

    Few stat estimates:

    bodyfat ~ 11.5%
    Weight: 161 lb

Training: about 6 days a week/bro split medium to high volume - 2 working splits (daily)

First day I took it was on the 22nd of May here is what I jotted down on my notepad and what the CM capsules look like:

It does smell a little bit like the lead on a pencil not much of an aftertaste once taken in.

I took my first dose in the morning and had a fasted cardio for 45 mins. It was my first workout since Friday on Saturday I was very busy with going to my brother's graduation and accident on Sunday so I couldnt get back into it til Tuesday.

Took second dose mid day forgot take the last dose so I took 2 doses the next morning.

Morning I did some deadlifts. Im not a big fan as far as core I tend to do more high volume things but I had to burn the high carbs. I felt pretty weak only did 6 sets at 60% my max it wasnt hard but I had a neck issue last month that I still had in my mind.

Then I swung by for the T Bar rows for 4 sets and finished with 4 clean/presses . I was pretty drenched in sweat.

PM - Post workout meal and then fasted til my second workout. I took a break like a 1 hr nap, it was sufficient though.

Took 2nd dose and chest presses, flyes then combo fly/twisted db presses. Then resistance band flyes with the hold at the peak. Got decent burn on the resistance bands. Finished with a couple sets of seated db shrugs with empjhasis on the traps, felt comfortable on those didnt warm up at all went right to the big ones I have.

Hello everybody, well back at it again on a Friday. Carbs have been going down progressively had carb overload start of week and cutting my cravings as I get back into it. Felt like I needed to bang out first and finish out with a bunch of betaTor.

I did a moderate pace cardio on treadmill morning fasted for about 35 mins, turned out to feel good but my energy wasnt that good lthough legs felt fresh. I had to double check the speed was actually correct it was. Feeling chest soreness and keeping it open for a PM session for an ab or arm session, prob shoulders if I can. Will update once it happens.

    PM UPDATE
Took 6g cit mal and 2nd dose CM and nothing else I was relatively carbed up. Last dose right before bedtime

Triception (Skullcrushers), arms. Very high volume arms. Db pullovers - Abs x 1000 resistance band crunches ..figure 8s, 1.30min plank at end, 100 x hip swings with chains

Starting to feel an "ease" I compare to already having warmed up now with Clear Muscle. Like strength from fresh muscles that kind of feeling and I get more pump as well.

I dont feel anything as far as hunger or laxative or anything like that.

    Great start to the log!

I like the picture actually showing the capsule. I know my first time taking them, I was intrigued just based off the clear liquid capsule!

Can't wait to see your thoughts.

Off day, I was planning on fasted cardio but day became long quick. Was looking for a pair of running shoes that 2 stores supposedly had in stock. Didnt end up having a session and wasnt really into it mentally to lift.

Taking my doses Am, pre-evening and before bed. Adding LCarnitine as I was running out of creatine and store at mall had a b1g2 so thats the new addition to the stack.

Been super busy here's the updates from the last few : ...

deadlifts with 5 sets of chinups (7max). Then I went to isolated lat pulls and felt fairly comfortable bringing those back, it wasnt my max but being one of the stronger lifts after deads actually not bad. One thing I do notice is the fatigue while using Clear Muscle, it is evident that it taps into something that allows for a higher rate of hypertrophy for sure ie, when you need strength rotations or for any sort of training. It takes time to build up in the system but in general it happens very quickly at least for me.

So then I did DB pullovers with an Ab rotation: walk planks, high volume upper chest crunches in the after noon.

PM - took 2nd dose CM with citrulline malate and had an arm rotation of: cable curls, DB curls, tricept extensions DB singles, crossbody and hammer curls. Pump was very good and my resting times had me sweating. I moderate reps are in the 15-23 range for skulls and crossbody in the lower 15-12 range.

Squat volume day, came home late after picking up my father at the airport and was busy overall so I did not get my AM cardio in. Couple hours before bed I did a large squat volume set and cardio for 20mins. Was doing 190lb for almost 30 reps, cant really remember but most sets were over 20. I mixed HIIT with the squats which is something I didnt do before but felt ok with these, only going for about 5mins at most.

Finished that with chinups 5x3 and 5 planks with bench jacknife crunches. Decent volume on these, wasnt going all out but I didnt have enough in the tank honestly and did whatever I could.

Morning cardio fast for about 40 mins or so with some BCAA's and cit-mal. At night I did a big tricep and arm session with skullcrushers a warmup and a few sets with 75's SS on closed grip EZ presses like Ronnie. Then Godsets where I added seated EZ curls, then brought weight down and cranked it out. Added high resistance bands tri extensions (14 reps) and finished with 4 dips.

Noticing a huge amount of hypertrophy and fat loss response, Im lowering my carbs and getting tons of pump still. I should be sore as hell but Im not and like I said short rest periods which bring out a load of pump.

More cardio on deck today in the evening time and planned on going to the gym later but opted not to. I think I was pretty much spent and sometimes you have to scale back which I did it was decent going at 50 carbs.

    June 2-3 - OFF DAYS

I actually wasnt able to get anything done as I had errands after work needing doing and actually had a couple cheat days as well. I will admit it's hard sticking to a diet when you're busy but you learn from it. Had like 2-3 slices of pizza off memory on the last and then some mexican pick up and then sweets at night. I thought I would lift but honestly laid down for a nap and then I went right to bed so carbs just stored for next day unfortunately. I have a better outlook coming up and Im revving up the training too and checking what Clear Muscle can bring no doubt.

    June 4 - -

Evening cardio session completely fasted and back on track. Trying on some new shoes I got and pretty much nailed those down, been hard finding some light fits that are all-terrain though. Hit 70 carbs but my energy was very average. Not planning on a PM but if I do Ill edit it out.

Drastic increases in volume to fatigue . Biggest differences in anti catabolic effects probably building up overtime but noticing those as well. Low carb days when Im stringing 2x a days n Im at workout #4 next day... Nice!

    June 5- - - --OFF Day

    June 6 - -

Fasted PM workout / 80 carbs on the treadmill

    June 7 - -
Fasted AM cardio with 60 carbs on treadmill. Strained on my lower back so I postponed a deadlift day. My sleep schedule has been out of whack which is one reason for why I have not been able to be as energized in general.

PM - Park has a shoulder press stationary unit that easily feels like its in the 100-150 range. I do not know the weight but based on the max resistance and experience it is hard to crank over 9 reps while fully carbed. (There's 4 levels you can go on for it.)
:Shrugs -also there's a stationary at the park for shrugs - 20 reps is good intensity for it like 4 sets.
-@Home: Tricep skulls 75lb x 5 sets. Ez bar delt raises, back rows x3 - EZ bar clean n jerks

    June 8 - -

First day back of a good heavy day. Deadlifts for volume at 190-210lbs with a core finishing final 30 minutes.

:Abs routine: planks , walking planks, reverse crunches , Max resistance preacher kneeled crunches with resistance bands - FIG 8s

    June 9 - -

164.4lb Morning weight - I feel like Ive dropped about 1% body fat while my weight is stable. Im going by the mirror not the scale and I feel good about it.

Same routine of Abs as June 8th above except no Deadlifts with it.

    June 10 - - -- OFF Day

    June 11 - - -
Adding Coconut oil pills to supplement list -
:Triceps = 95lblb cb presses SS skullcrushers - about 6 sets of each. I was very winded but my lever was very good. Then EZ curls and light wrist curls with the EZ bar.

    June 12 - - -

Fasted cardio about 50 carbs. and reverse crunches with 5 sec holds at the top. Roughly about 5 sets of these and lowered the tension pauses every one after.

I did the power cleans for the huge volume and also the huge trap BURN! I was definitely feeling it. Then circus DB's, DB pullovers .

Mini ab session with delt ez bront raises = plate raises and side leans. I've dropped a considerable amount of fat my hips have a better frame I feel but have not checked my weight.

    June 14 - -

Deadlifts for volume with an ab circuit : Reverse crunches, walk planks, 1,200 crunches with resistance bands, FIG 8;s and alternating side crunches.

--The deadlift with ab focused training is considerably better for me than just DLs by themselves. I have to really do it like THIS because of genetic limitations. My lower abs are far too deep entrenched for me to even see them and my ribcage protrudes enough that my UPPER abs wont show. So UPPER crunches have been highly beneficial in working my solar-plexus which is great. But REVERSE crunches with the hold UP top and tension are very good.

Evidently not as good on my volume but my sleep is improving. One thing I do notice with Clear Muscle is how I fight of catabolism. I cant say if its placebo effect thats for sure.

    June 15 - -

:Squats - 195 x 20 x 6 sets. weighted pullups 25lb x5 sets. Shoulder presses 95lb x 2 sets, Back rows 95lb - DB rows 4 sets, I was liking the back pump and shoulder work. Ive had neck issues in the recent past so Ive kind of stayed away from military presses long enough and now feel comfortable in working those up. I'd like to lift my bodyweight for reps during or at the completion of the log.

In another note, I feel that coconut oil pills have played a role in burning my stomach front layer fat with the MCT profile.

UPDATE for today, I am working on a body composition picture for sometime this week. *I want to post this here*and will edit it soon ..

I want to take it fasted with no carb intake prior to gym day and with a weight check ofc watching the world cup in the background as well. As of this post nothing has changed in regards to training or supplementation with Clear Muscle. I still cardio roughly 4 times a week, high protein/low carb (only limited to 2 high carb days MAX). It is hard to keep up two-daily's.

Here for the pics! Can't wait to see the progress, and how CM has helped with your cut.

Been almost a month, you are in the sweet spot now!
