Im 17 years old, 5ft 8. I started going to the gym nearly 3 months ago now. The first two months, i started at 136lb and cut down to 127lb thinking i was doing the right thing. I was then told i should be bulking not cutting so for the past month ive been bulking. In a month and one week i have bulked from 127lb to 141lb, the problem with this is i was told that i should only be putting on a few pounds per month so i think most of this is fat not muscle. For the first week of my bulk i started at 2,500 calories and then bumped it up to 3,000 since then. The 3,000 calories consists of 150g protein, 375g carbs and 100g of fats. I eat fairly clean foods, mainly lean meats and i also have a weight gainer protein shake a day. Ive seen changes in my chest and bigger arms since ive started but the last thing i want to do is put on a lot of fat and belly during the bulk. Am i gaining lean muscle or fat?

I just checked out that website it told me my maintenance would be 2,688 as i work out 6 days of the week. To bulk it reccomended 3,188 which is a +500 calorie surplus from my maintenance. Problem is this is more than what im eating now and im gaining weight too much weight too quickly. Should i stick to what it says and do 3,188 a day or stick to 3,000?
Thanks
