Hey folks, I need some help with my pec strain (s) maybe 5 or 6 ish months ago i was doing slow eccentrics on the bench 3x a week and then of course, my left pec ( where it connects to the shoulder area) popped, maybe a month or two later -- i benched 365 for reps two days in a row and boom, it popped.. then maybe a few months after that it happened on my 5th 5 of 5x5@315. I took like a month off and started with 5lb pec flyes and what not, and over the last month ive worked back to 225 for some tens on the bench. After a few controlled tens with 225 my left pec starts to feel really suspect again and i stop to avoid injury again. Likewise the same area on my right pec - which has never been injured, usually starts to feel somewhat " pinched" and dangerous. How do I get past this point? I used to be a 400+ guy but now i cant handle more than 3x10 @225 or 1x5@245 without things getting dangerous... What do i do? Please help.
