Does it really help with getting muscle pumps? How much would you add?

I sometimes take 1g of Pink Himalayan salt prior to training, especially during the Summer days, seeing as it helps with hydration and electrolyte balance.
I notice an increase in pumps and overall endurance when I have taken some pre training. My training log: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=178464441

You could discuss this with your doctor. In my case my BPis not particularly affected by my salt intake. In fact as I tend to make most of my meals at home and live in a hotter cliimate and due to blood test result, my doctor recommended I salt my food a bit more heavily.
YMMVThe most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl
