Hidden Ingredients?

I'm about to buy Nitrotech Power, which one of my doctors told me will not interact with my meds.

My other doctor, however, told me about his apprehension that some supplements 'allegedly' have hidden ingredients so it's possible that nitrotech power could have some too. But I live here in the Philippines and I don't know how strict the food and drug agency/ies are in the US where NitroTech Power is being manufactured.

Please shed some light on this. Please tell me if my doctor's apprehension is well-founded.

Unless you get a COA from a unbiased 3rd party you can't really. You have to take anyone's word it. Bigger companies like MT have no reason to spike products anymore. They have more to lose than it would be worth for them.

Thanks. I'd still ask my personal trainer though. But that's the one thing I still have to do to erase any remaining doubts I have.

What are the hidden ingredients he refers to ?
What dangers do they pose on you ?

Then follow up on the supplement company

not having hidden ingredients and being a completely transparent label are different things.

you can list out all ingredients, but to be fully transparent there'd be a breakdown of the amount of those "other ingredients"

You know you could just eat protein and not worry about powdered food.

Rule 1 is a brand. If you look at their pre you can figure out the rest of their products for yourself IMO. That's actually how I judge most companies anymore.

I found this from another thread:

This product was made by the original owners of "Optimum Nutrition". When they originally signed it over they also signed like many businesses a contract that they wouldn't go make another product that would compete with "Optimum Nutrition's" business for a certain period of time.

From what I understand, within the last 2 years or so, that period of time is now up.

Personally, I was skeptical at first. The protein though is very clean, and in my opinion right up there with "Optimum Nutrition." If they continue to make products like this, I'm pretty sure it's going to become a power house in the industry soon.

I'm from Tampa Bay, FL and it's starting to catch here quickly.

So the one that created this product is a fairly new company but the owners of this company were the original owners of Optimum Nutrition.
