I've been absent for a little while due to work, life, training and just boredom of this place. But I have been a member since 2005 and made a lot of friends (and haters of course) along the way and honestly not sure who is still here.

So with that said can I get a roll call to see who is left and still active?

I'm going thru a divorce so I've spent a lot of time going balls deep in random females after work, but I still try to make it here while I'm at work. I am not nearly as active on here at night as I used to be when I was married.

*Edit: Also, I noticed you keep your hands narrow on the bar when squatting...that fukks my right shoulder when I do it, so I have switched to hands wide on the bar. Have you considered that might be aggravating your shoulder?

I have been pretty active on the forums in general since I joined but not as much in the O35 section, even though this is where my first post was last year as a 37 year old hitting a mid life crisis somehow and thinking that lifting weights for the first time would be a good idea. I was wrong. It was a great idea. I love it.

Just to say to the both of you that I'm sorry for what you're going through. A few friends of mine have divorced lately as well (one male friend of mine devastated - as his income increased his wife became increasingly resentful of their lifestyle, they fought a lot about how much he was earning and - perversely - in the divorce she sued for half his assets (he invested in property a lot). I hope neither of you is going through something so utterly spiteful in that sense, given how stressful divorce is in any case.

You never can tell what will stress a relationship too much.

Personally think that mine is/was mostly about him...as in doing what he thinks will make him happy, grass is greener, mid life thing. Grew his hair out to shoulder length, started getting together with some musician friends, etc. Suspect he may have been seeing someone because he was out really late some on weeknights and overnights some weekends...even just flat told me NYE weekend that he was getting a hotel room in the city. Almost all of this was after he said he wanted a divorce, so there is that...I wasn't getting naked with him anymore. Then a couple of months ago it just kind of stopped. Never asked...don't need to know.

I am not but would like to be. A twin birth a few years back changed my life but as they get older I get tiny bits of free time here and there. Moving to a place with a 3-car garage and my wife seems okay with one garage bay as home gym/workshop.
