    Eating too clean =time wasting

    Got my daily protein carbs and fats in

    Still nothing sure I looked ripped as phuk but there was no srs mass gains

    Then I throw on some chicken tikka pizza
    ice cream or some burgers On top of my clean diet

    And boom
    Im gaining faster than ever
    Mind blown

    Clean diet= have to eat Double to make up for cals

    Who the phuk has the time , and the mental capacity
    to eat so much phukin chicken rice and peanuts with out losing there chit

    Eating clean actually made me lose gains. I also have an ectomorph metabolism and shed 2-3 lbs every night while I sleep lol that being said portion control is everything.

    I've had a way better body and made way better gains eating clean.

    I went like 4 years doing the "calorie is a calorie" thing and I was lean but I wasn't getting muscular. It all changed when I changed my diet.

    But at the same time, eating clean is BS for some people's genetics. Look at all the jacked wrestlers in the 80s and 90s. Yes, they were using supplements that arent legal now but they would drink beer every night until they basically passed out. Their diets were basically a chicken breast with a bunch of other random foods.

    Eating too much chit food is going to lead to being fat. Trust me, as I have been there before. I ate everything to "get big" and I sure did, but I also got a 40" waist line to go with it. If you don't care, then by all means bloat maxx.

    Eating GOOD calories will always be superior, and while harder due to them naturally being lower in cals, you can make it work. Whole Milk, Red Meat, EVOO, Eggs, Natty Peanut Butter......all nutrient dense foods with high calorie content.

    This. In a nutshell it's not bad to eat chit especially after dieting for a while, i mean look at people who compete -- stuffing their faces with cake and chit behind the curtains after weeks of chicken and broc****. Eat whole foods and cheat when you need to. Not only that lift heavy and hard if you are going to eat like that.

    Agreed. There is nothing wrong with cheating, as long as its strategic cheating. Going HAAM because its Tuesday isn't smart. I typically follow the 80/20 rule and keep chit food to 20% of my weekly intake, and I'll have those cheats either A.) The night before an AM training session, or B.) after a training session to maximize them for performance and minimize damage.

    Meh, I just have a cheat day every 2 weeks. The rest is your bland typical BB diet. This has been the only way that I have defeated "skinny fat"

    Had to up my total calories to 3100+ just to stay on maintenance. Once I lost 30 lbs my metabolism was on fire, I started feeling lethargic and exhausted all day when I was less than 3k calories.

    I never eat chit foods though. I still eat well and eat delicious things. I bake my own things with sugar replacements

    the 80/20 rule makes sense. I can only fit so much chicken and lean ground beef in my during the day. I am at 3.5k-4k calories just to maintain my weight right now. Ill take in like 2.5k calories during the moring and workday but then Ill eat chit like Target's Dino Nuggets at night because they actually have okay macros. Ill also do a cheat day once a week

    The 80/20 rule is real. Keeps you anabolic. I find that chit food is the best after a high volume workout. Most of mine last anywhere from 40minutes to an hour, but if I eat chit food (say a burger from Hardee's) after a high volume, 1.5 hour workout, I will blow up, and not in the wrong areas.

    I've tried only eating clean without cheating but its dam near impossible and torture. Cheat meals couple times a week isnt going to hurt your diet at all considering 80% of your primary diet is 100% clean. Your body will barely notice the cheat meals..

    Yup.

    The problem arises though with people who have a 3k "cheat meal" and do that 4x a week. I have one massive binge a week because it's what I prefer, but if I have multiple obligations that I may need to go off diet, I'll keep those meals within reason.

    I mean op I eat clean and still gain mass. Albeit its not as fast as dirty food I’ll take clean food over dirty food all day everyday. Im gaining mass without gaining any body fat. I guess everyone is wired different genetically.

    I have a family member that lost wait that doesn't realize this. Her BF is the same way also. They will plan a cheat meal 3 months in advance and then wonder why they get burnt out. My wife's aunt has her pro card in bodybuilding and even she has cheat meals. She will eat high protein but eat like a slice of pie and chit when it isn't close to a comp and still have a low bf at all times.

    The difference between someone with a truly fast metabolism, and one with a slow metabolism is minimal. A few hundred calories at best. Most people simply don't eat enough to gain weight for the amount of calories they burn every day (no, that's not purely metabolism). They aren't hard gainers and they don't have a superhuman metabolism. That's a fact.
