HELP! How long for muscle memory to work?

I had to have an emergency appendectomy a week ago and I have to wait another week until I can't start lifting again with LIGHT weights. I've been training for about 2.5 years and weighed around 166 before I had surgery. I have lost approximately 6-8 pounds and half an inch off my arms since the surgery mainly because the first day I had appendicitis I ate litteraly nothing and lost about 5 pounds that day. If anyone could give me a rough approximation on how long it will take to get my size back that would be greatly appreciated.
