Showing my son karate kid 3. Only saw it once or twice as a kid. Some thoughts:
Terry silver is awesome, I dont hate him like I did as a kid. Also, he's not a steven segal knockoff like I thought.
Terry silver was 27 in 1989, and is kreeses nam buddy. Which means he was in Nam somewhere in the age range of 6-13. That's gangsta
Terry Silver is 58ish now, seemingly in shape, and could easily come to Cobra Kai, but from interviews of the past he seems to want to be shakespeare type sht, migjt be too hoity toity for this sht. If that's the case, I'll kill him.
My son said "danielsan looks chubbier" and he's right. Double chin on full display here. Part 1 and 3 are 5 years apart but supposed to be just months apart lol.
With characters from part 2, plus barnes and silver, cobra kai has plenty to work with... even if it feels forced I'm cool w it. The show has overdelivered and if they just start ramming in characters for the fukk of it, I'm game. season 1 was good imo, 5 episodes in S2 and its alright but that fight at the mall with Sam and Robby beating the 5 "bullies" made me cringe. first off I hate how the show portrays Demitri as a victim when he's not. guy disrespected someone old enough to be his father and got punched + thrown out of the dojo, he deserves to be bullied for that pussy ass Yelp review lol also anytime there's a scene w/ some chick kicking men's ass i have trouble taking it seriously no matter the context

Just rewatched the series this weekend getting ready for season 3. Good thing, cause quite a few little things I missed the first go around.
They tease Daniel and Johnny becoming friends perfectly. It's amazing how much similarity there is between the two.
That school fight at the end of season 2 was completely over the top but meh, doesn't ruin anything for me. Hawk is over the top as well, but again not enough to ruin it.
Not sure where season 3 is going to go - so many possibilities. I almost hope they don't bring Silver back - they did enough nostalgia, they can go in a unique direction.
Dang - I thought season 3 was upcoming, not an unknown release date. Oh well. Still worth watching again.Boomer Rep Crew #1
