LBJ in "clutch situations" (within 5 points, 5 min left) for the playoffs:
    27 minutes
    11/22 FG, 3/8 from 3, 7/10 at the line
    4 assists 1 TO
    32 points
    31 + / -

Pretty insane following up his clutch RS of:

    Per 40 minutes:
    52/14/9 with 5 TO on 56/32/65 shooting splits... and a +23 per 40.

a lot of that can be discounted since he got into close games with **** teams, but this is like that 09 LBJ season where he was a monster down the stretch of every game.

This, I only hate him because he beats my team up every year though. But watching him get the same treatment in the finals is a small consolation.

I’ve definitely come around on Lebron in the last couple of years. Unfortunate he’s going to have to lose in the finals again. But as an individual it’s completely absurd what he’s doing. Definitely won me over as a fan despite his social media personality type chit

Playoff game on the line against the #1 seed and instead of driving to the rim he does a fade away one handed shot off the glass to win it. Unbelievable.

This is the best way to frame it. The goal is to win a championship every year...you're either successful or you're not.

Some people act like Jordan only wanted 6 or something lol. That said, 6/13 is still amazing.

Not at all a Lebron fan, but he is silencing a lot of people with this playoff run so far. He’s showing some killer in him that we do not usually see.

Wish Kyrie was healthy to see Celtics and Cavs go at it.

This even more proves that winning championships isn't EVERYTHING. Even though Russell is the undisputed championship winner, no one ever puts him in the top three or so basketball players of all time.

There's way more to it than the number championships a player wins. No one will say that Robert Horry or Derek Fisher were better players than Karl Malone or Charles Barkley even though they won tons of championships while Malone and Barkley won none. Obviously things like the player's role to the team and the quality of competition matter. The vast majority of people will say that MJ's 6 championships in the 1990s were more impressive than Russell's 11 championships in the 50s and 60s based on the quality of competition.

And then to add to the fact and one of the most important thing that people don't realize, for most of Russell's career, the league only had 9 teams. How much easier is it to win the championship of a league with 9 teams than it is today with 32 teams?

Are you kidding me? Jordan didn't win any championships until Bird retired, Magic caught the High Five and the Piston got old. The league in the mid 90's was garbage, teams couldn't break 100 points. He beat the Jazz in the finals twice.

Second, you're taking the Fisher/Horry example out of context. Russell was the leader and his role was to guard Wilt the most fearsome physical specimen there was. A guy who average 50 points a game. That was his task. He averaged 22.5 rebounds for his career by the way.

I would say it is harder to win with less teams. The players are better because there are less jobs.

Again, he was 21-0 in winner take all games.

so you mean the NBA will be less competitive if we only pick the top 9 team from the nba now?
you mean the playoff games are less competitive then the regular season since there are only 16 teams in the playoff.
so why not make it more competitive now by add more teams? There are sure more player want to join nba.
Seattle is still waiting to have a team.
