    Workout after a few shots?

Hey guys, I just had 3oz of a 40% spirit and 10oz of a 4% beer over the span of 4h.

I'm buzzed but it's not too bad, if I drink a lot of water(not sure that helps) do you think it'd be okay to workout at some point in the next 6 hours? Or should I just skip it and workout tomorrow? I'd really like not to miss my workout today but I don't want to do something I shouldn't.

I'm talking about the biology side of it, but you're right, I actually shouldn't have been drinking in the first place for what I want to accomplish, but since that's water under the bridge I was wondering how to better mitigate the effect.

My last cut I dropped 20kg in 4 weeks. I got drunk at least once a week. IIFYM bruhh. On that one day you want to get drunk. choose your drink carefully and reach your macro needs. Going above your calories with some carbs in one day won;t matter too much. If concerend then Just workout a bit longer to increase your TDEE.

Yeah I added it to mfp, came out at 369kcal for the drinks so I can work with that. I'll have a meal and drink a ****ton of water for the next couple hours to see if I can get confident enough that I can get a good workout in I guess.

Don't really think you'd be accomplishing too much OP. I'd just enjoy the night.

I would skip the workout and have a few more drinks, but make sure you don't end up eating a crapload of greasy food tonight or tomorrow.

It wasn't really a full on party night, to give context around 7pm a friend msgd me saying she got kicked out by her father so I had a few drinks with her while she figured out where she'd be staying, then walked her to a friend's home who took her in. Came home and posted this thread.

Anyway I'm going in, I'll let you know how it goes lol

The workout was actually not bad, glad I went for it. A bit sluggish at the start so I just made sure I warmed up properly with increasing weights before my first work set, from then on I'd say I was at 95% of what I am usually.

I typically, if I drink which isn’t often, wait until I’ve already lifted to start. I’ll plan my going out accordingly. Just easier and more motivated to lift when sober as opposed to buzzed
