I dont enjoy any yard work, but mowing lawn on a summer afternoon after the sun starts setting without a shirt on after cutting is nice. Get to show off your hard work without going to the beachCurrent Stats: as of 11/9/2017

My favorite part is that the place where i live in has the owner that does the lawn every 3-4 weeks.
The worst part is seeing the owner step on dog poop just about every 5 minutes lol. He should know better though as the dogs poop all around the fence, not in the middle of the yard, but next to the fence.Army Veteran, OEF.

I have a new least favorite. I went to cut my yard yesterday and the riding lawnmower I just bought last year is missing a bolt and now the blade will not engage. Super fun times

I enjoy all aspects of yard work, especially the satisfaction of getting weeds out by the roots. I’m lucky that my 3 year old likes finding weeds and attempting to pull them.
My least favorite part of yard work is watering because it is so damn expensive!

Amazed so few entered; is there even 20?

I'm in for anything Matz is throwing around!
1. I enjoy mowing and seeing those perfectly straight lines in the yard...but even more than that...weed whacking around the edges of the house and trees etc.
2. I hate...trimming, preening, whatever the shrubs and flowers and all that. We have these flowering bushes that basically cover our front windows because I'm too lazy to cut them back. And now they're so big I'm sort of afraid to go in there.Last edited by BenW22; 05-09-2018 at 06:47 AM.

Yardio!!!!
We have about .35 acres at our home. Not sure how that compares with the rest of you but we have one of the largest land/lot in the development.
I dont mind mowing (push...gas btw...not that corded bs) as it is pretty relaxing and give me time to think/daydream/etc.
its the other stuff that makes me go RAGE!!!!
Pic #1....the overgrown bushes
As you can see it covers half of the lower windows. I know Im supposed to keep the bushes trimmed (inb4 certain joke(s)) but I gotta get on a step ladder with a hedge trimmer and then clean up the mess beneath it......meh f'it I really just want to remove the whole thing and replace it with something else that requires less maintenance but wife says "no" ... lol
Pic #2....the stubborn driveway weeds
Y U NO DIE!?!?!? These things are stubborn as heck. Extra Super Duper Wow Wow Strength Round Off will only be a temporary fix for maybe a few weeks. I pulled them....weekly round off..... still these stubborn Zombie Weeds refuse to die.
Pic #3.... the stubborn cactus weeds
Y U NO DIE!?!?!? I have pulled these prickly things by the roots...added tarp...and they still pop up somehow. This is Maryland!!! not Arizona!!! I have to deal with this every 2 weeks or so

Matz, thanks for a great promo - how could I not throw my hat in the ring?
I'll tell you what I love - mowing. Especially the push mower. You may think I'm kidding, but I'm not. You get a ton of control over a beautiful pattern in your yard and it's an excellent way to maintain a base level of cardiovascular fitness during the summer (I'm a powerlifter, this is as wild as we get). I far and away believe walking is one of the best things you can do for your health, and if you're doing it outside and pushing a little load then even better!
I'll tell you what I loath - weed eating. No matter what brand I've used, I hate the things. My hands go numb from the vibration. It's hot. It's tedious. My clothes (or me) end up absolutely covered in weeds. I have to wear sunglasses to keep all the **** out of my eyes. It flairs up my seasonal allergies like nothing else. I hate it!NOV || Ohio Chapter || Be more, have less.
