This.
I'm a simple man. For me I'd get rid of my 2016 GTI and just get either a used 2011-2014 Acura TL 6 speed or 2004ish E55 AMG for a daily, and get a newer rig like a Tundra or Sequoia for me to tow my E36 M3 to the track and back. Save more of my income to put towards investing.

If I'm buying a two door car it'd be with no backseats. Otherwise the 2+2 configuration of coupes is ridiculous and pointless as the backseats are too tiny. And the worst thing is that the doors are stupid long and heavy and it's pain to get in and out of tight parking.
Like I posted earlier, a used Mercedes CLS63 AMG for $75k is the best option. In a couple years add a slightly used Porsche GT3 to the garage paid in cash.

I don't make 200k and i have C7Z. Easily the best car i've owned. Not only in performance but the attention you get is something you won't believe. Makes you believe you're driving a focking ferrari. There has never been a time where i pass people and they didn't break their neck to look. Every group of people look, doesn't matter the age.
Back during my fast and furious japanese chit car days, only kids look and other dudes give the thumbs up. That's some hom0 chit. No thanks to that now.
These days, EVERYONE gives a thumbs up, even girls too. Everyone loves a corvette lol.
GM absolutely hit it out of the park with the C7.

Don't like working on cars, no interest in debating the nuances between manual and automatic or carburetor vs fuel injection crew checking in.
A dodge charger most definitely, I'd get two actually. A 1970 Dodge Charger (Black, just like the one Dom drives in TF&F).. would try to make that car as close to Dom's car as I could get it. This would be my passion project, not something I actually cruise around in.
Another one would also be a 2015-2018 dodge charger, i'd get that thing blacked out, get some performance parts on it and make that sucker go.
I love the way newer Chargers look at night, what with the whole taillight being lit up.. such beauty, perfect for nighttime cruising.

ITT this guy craves attention and validation more than a 13 YO prepubescent teen girl on Twitter.
Is this why guys get jacked up trucks and modify them so as to accelerate the decline of our environment? All for thumbs up from random strangers who they don't know, will never know, and whose opinions truly do not matter?
God help us all.

That's actually easily obtainable for someone living within their means. That 200k salary should span several years, so if someone is saving/investing near half of that every year... he/she will easily have the cash to afford a $150k car or multiple nice cars.
With $200k salary you will have a earned gross $1M after 5 years.R135

Let me guess, you drive a prius??
I don't give 2 chits about the environment. All my cars have gotten modified in one way or another. I like to idle them in winter (when people say don't or say you don't have to), and i like to be loud and obnoxious at times, especially when going on weekend drives or whenever i'm bored.
Just because some people like certain cars, doesn't mean they're wrong when you don't like the same type of cars.
I got my C7 because i always been a fan of corvettes. Had a C5, 2 C6's, and now my C7Z. The attention and compliments come with the territory in owning a C7, a C7Z at that. I didn't ask for it, nor did i buy the car JUST for that. It just came with the ownership.
And yes it does feel good getting that attention LOL
