im 15, 5'7 and 100 lbs. Want to bulk up a bit. all the calculators online say I need like 2000 calories a day just to maintain. Im trying to put on some muscle, but 2300-2500 calories a day seems like a lot, and I don't want to get fat. Advice?
Shoot for 1lb of weight gain per week. You are underweight as it is.
Agreed. Eat in a constant caloric surplus and analyze your results week by week. If you think you are putting on too much fat (which I doubt you would), cut back the calories a little bit.
