Hair Removal- Which one - Wax, Cream or Shave ?

For hair removal mainly on the chest and underarms what do you guys generally do and have you had any issues.

Waxing
My concern on waxing is mainly spot breakouts. I waxed my back last year with instant wax strips and it looked great until about 4 days later when I got a massive outbreak of spots.

Shaving
Shaving seems easy but my hair is so coarse that I think a cut hair would feel like daggers.

Hair Removal Cream
Hair removal creams seem like they would a great idea, blunting the hairs and pain free but I'm not sure if there is a catch.


Itching
On all of the above not sure what the risks of itching during regrowth are.

Use clippers/machine until hair is short enough to shave with a razor

Don't forget Laser is an alternative also open to men!
There are now an increasing number of women in BB/Figure/Bikini enjoying the more permanent hairfree soloution! I'm personally very satisfied and would not be afraid to recommend it over waxing and shaving!

Bud, I did the wax thing and that was the most painful thing I have done. Just forget about that. I had my back done. unless you can get knocked out or something. No f'in way. Just shave!!!!!

Depends where. No issues with wax except that it can be painful with longer hair.

Be careful with hair removal creams, they can work well but can mess up with how the tan will soak into your skin come show time. used cream my first show and my tan sucked/ just didnt want to soak into my skin. shaved the next time and it made a huge difference.

Id be hesitant to try a new form of hair removal close to an event. Like if you only shave, stick to that, and if you typically wax then wax. If you use Witch Hazel on a cotton ball after shaving you shouldnt have any bumps. Also, I definitely wouldnt say I have sensitive skin, but I used a cream and had a really awful alergic reaction. Idk what you should do... but if you never used cream now is not the time to try.

Waxing! Painful, but effective. The only disadvantage is ingrown hairs. But it can be easily solved with a good scrub

Wax if you decide to remove hair in good time before competition, and shave if it is last minute.

I shave; but I also have hardly any body hair. And what I do have is very fine, thin.
Like mentioned tho, I wouldn't change too much too close to a show.
