lol @ desperate crypto ceo's running around begging people to buy crypto and make big profits just to save their own investments I'm pretty sure that is very illegal to do.

lol... crypto is not dead. The applications for the technology is endless. Certain coins/currency/projects might be dead/dying ... but crypto as a whole is not even close to dead. Anyone that disagrees seriously does not understand the technology in the slightest.

Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee."

I think you mean blockchain technology is far from dead. Crypto as some kind of get rich quick scheme is quickly dying.
I have some (partial) Bitcoins. As far as I'm concerned it is a sunk cos now. If it shoots to the moon and is $100k/coin like all the crypto nuts thought it would be then great. If it continues down the toilet like it has been then well that happens too.

....but how?
The ledger capabilities are cool and will be utilized, but it will be utilized like the internet. People don't have stock in HTTP. The entire idea of investing in it is mostly flawed.
Current day currency has millions of intelligent man hours integrated to merchants, banks, trading systems, etc. Tens of millions and is government backed.
Currency NEEDS to be regulated just like police are needed. Society won't function if currency isn't regulated for a million obvious reasons.
Current currency is already digital, easily transferred, faster, cheaper, secure, backed by giant agencies with centuries of perfecting. It can be transferred in real time often with new RTN payment rails. Even the TCH rails will be 24/7 processing for dollars.
I don't see any sound reasoning behind a government giving up their control and fiat dollar, even if the economy collapses like it has so many times before. 99% of crypto is used for investment purposes, not actual merchant buying. That should be a sign right there.
What am I missing?

future speculation my man. the thing about blockchain technology is akin to the byzantine generals story... where generals couldnt trust one another and would fear a retreat from his peers if he commanded his army to attack, say a walled city. the blockchain allows transactions to be recorded and confirmed on a peer-to-peer network that is actually accessible to most ppl. its the transparency about the thing that attracts me the most. im not a conspiracy nut but i often wonder how many ppl know that trillions and trillions of dollars were reported missing/gone a day before 9/11 when the world trade towers collapsed.
