Nobody knows. That chart shows the 2014 correction applied to the 2017 peak.

So if the correction was the same in % and time terms, that's what the chart would look like. (We've corrected faster as can be seen by the current price indicated by the star).


If history were to repeat exactly, a bottom would be seen at circa $2,850 (ignoring that initial candlestick drop - probably a data error) and arrive around September 2019.

Interesting for comparison IMO but as we all know, history doesn't always repeat.

BTC has been sub 6k several weeks ago and then bounced back up. What's different now? I thought we were heading for the proverbial 4k when it went below 6k last time.

This last bump was merely a correction just like the last few that fail to get above the previous. If this one drops the same as the previous correction we should bottom out around 4.5k to 5k before our next chance at a reversal and or correction

Good morning honda crew. Not seeing much for trading today. I think our slow and steady climb have been shorts taking profits. Still not sure if we will see a short squeeze. Most are all well into profits but everytime we get to this level of shorts we see some wreckage.

If you do NOT, DO NOT trade the cross on the hourly alone, it is a precursor of higher TFs, but not guaranteed the higher frames will inevitably reflect it as anything could happen down in this area. When the 4hr TF starts showing a cross, then I'd start keeping an eye for the daily.

I generally would wait, like most of us are doing. Clarification will reveal itself eventually here where we're heading.

No they aren't, the parabolic rise in shorts started at 7.4 and went down to roundabout the bottom, then the 2nd wave was from 6.4 to the bottom, and we just collected a bunch more overnight.

They can get rekt, 100%. Greedy as fuark and too bold, market makers that shorted the pocket retrace at the top and dumped their positions into the greedy pleb shorters prob licking their chops at the wreckage to come. If I had to guess anyway, who really noes in this game.

Finally trading above the 22 EMA and using it as support it looks like (4 hr). Resistance at the 50. Could trade short term between the two if you had some balls. I think I'll wait for direction. I'll go long with a close over 6450.
