I eat a full serving of Optimum serious mass a day (3-4 shakes). Breakfast, pre workout meal and dinner.
I seem to feel very tired and lacklustre when working out.
I cant seem to figure out why,

Check the label of your mass protein drink.
I suspect lots of sugar which isn't good.
It plays with your insulin levels and may make you have a tired feeling.
Oats with fruit mixed in and a scoop of quality whey protein isn't a bad combo about an hour before training.
In addition if you like coffee that might help you get started right before you train.

What's your job like? Do you work a physically demanding job? What kind of physical activity do you do outside of the gym? About 6-7 months ago I was doing construction type labor for a few months and was on a full-body program and when the weight started getting progressively heavier, after coming home from work I was ****ing dreading working out after beating the **** out of myself for 8 hours (digging trenches, carrying ladders, heavy equipment, etc.) It sucked so bad. I was eating 3.2k cals at the time too.
More recently (in about February) I switched to PHUL routine and do upper power and lower power on the weekend and do the hypertrophy days on my work days. Well actually I do 2 lower power days as my lower body lifts are lagging behind my upper body but on the days I work I judge how I'm feeling that day and if I'm too tired I omit the squats on that lower power day and do trap bar deadlift instead (but do squats on my lower power day that's on the weekend). I still do a physically demanding job and I work 10 hrs instead of 8 now but some days are very easy. The last job it was grueling every day... Now I feel a lot better. I think what you do outside of the gym will effect your time in the gym so much.Last edited by merl227; 04-19-2018 at 03:10 PM.

I eat a well-balanced diet and every once in a while I still feel lackluster
I usually don't worry about it too much snd figure it'll pass. It usually does too. You provide almost no information so there's really not any way to give you a meaningful suggestion.
How much of your diet is coming from shakes? The most important aspect of weight training; whether for the athlete, bodybuilder, or average person is to better ones health and ability without injury. - Bill Pearl
