What are the best exercises/workouts for a 16 (turning 17) yr old boy whose just started exercising (a few days now). I am 5'8 1/2 or 174cm and weigh 61 kg or 134 lbs. I also got dumbbells at home.
Depends on what weight you have. But when I started I did all dumbbell for the first month I think helped develop a little muscle (especially stabilizing muscles) to help bench deadlift and squat. Id say dumbbell bench, shoulder press, curls, overhead triceps extensions, rows, goblet squats, and lunges would be the most beneficial. Definitely get a gym membership soon, or if your school has a gym that works.
