    Dairy Intolerance ----- What now?

    Hi guys

I have been informed to cut out dairy completely as it whats causing me major sinus issues. Along with bloating.

Cutting dairy does not bother me much BUT now I have a issue on not been able to take any Whey protein, or any protein that contains "MILK".

What now? Your suggestions/help will mean so much.

Dairy isn't healthy anyways. There are plenty of protein sources without dairy. Hemp, bean, beef, egg, protein powders all exist.

Had the same issues after a stomach surgery. Cutting dairy out of your diet and getting in enough calories/protein isn't that hard.

    Some tips:

    - Almond milk / soy milk/cream/butter
    - Alpro soya (idk if you have that in your country) makes dairy free yoghurts
    - There's lactose free products, if it's just a lactose intolerance
    - Eat more meat for protein
    - There's other types of protein powder, but they all taste like garbage... Wish I could help you on that one. At least they exist.
    - Liquid egg whites to make up for the protein instead of shakes

I only put milk in my coffee and eat some greek yoghurt occasionally, other than that I still use soy cream/butter. I do use protein shakes like 3 days a week if I can't meet my goal with regular food. Either find one that doesn't bother you (high quality, preferably whey isolate without added sugars - which tastes horrible btw) or switch to soy/egg/pea... Whatever replacement protein.

Don't forget 0.8-1 grams of protein per pound of bodyweight is enough, I can attest to that.
