He knows he's the only option avaliable, and is fighting a scary looking opponent. Perfect tactic. Anything worse is not worth a fight against khabib.

he might but it's because there's still a mystique around khabib's undefeated record and his mauling of fighters. like demian maia before when we thought he was unstoppable, khabib hasn't faced his kryptonite just yet. eventually he'll be exposed imo.

1) let khabib fight for title only, not Al
2) could waive the .2 lbs as he was wearing underwear during weigh in and make it a championship fight

3) it's nysac so it'll be the complete opposite and they'll fukk up any other possible option to save the fight nysac wants to show off their power in disguise of "helping the fighters". khabib might not even fight.
