I know that you are just a silly 2014 join date, but seriously this chit works if you keep it up. read and learn.

Gains are harder to come by when you're 40+ but gains are still there to be had. Unless you're already at peak genetic ability in your 30s, then you'll slowly decline without a little of dat dere.
The studies that show men lose muscle mass, bone density and overall athletic ability once they hit 35+ are generally population studies that do NOT account for lifting regularly. Guys who were in shape in their 20s, have kids and a busy life and soften up in their 30s, then totally quit exercising in their 40s are the majority and so studies will inevitably show physical decay starting in the 30s. I'd love to see what happens to a population of men from 20 to 50 years of age who all lift 2+ times per week. I'd bet they plateau after five years of lifting and maintain until their 50s or even early 60s, albeit at a slightly higher BF%.

Lifted off and on in my 30's to 40's. 40's till now 54, lifting 5 days a week. I get a boost from my dr every 14 days. I'm 5'11" and went from 195 to 230 the last 14 years. At 45 I was repping 3 plates for 5 reps. What I have noticed now is I do carry a bit more body weight than the younger guys that I lift with. My bench has dropped to 225x5x5 (this week) and I don't give a $hit what other guys younger are doing. I only worry about me. I'm bigger than most and look better than most and I can't ask for anything more. With all that being said, you can stay in the gym and make gains as you get older but you will lose some strength. I don't train for strength because of some shoulder pain but I'm sure there are guys that can.

How do you think that works. You think you just get on test from a doctor and your strength goes through the roof by itself lol.
You think people lay around and just stay on 8 things for 4 straight years? I get the mentality but it’s a general “he rides the bike” because it can’t be discussed here. It’s not what you think.
That said...you made a statement and then retracted it. Just say “I hate you like everyone does” my feelings won’t be hurt.Last edited by bobbydigitaloa; 04-07-2018 at 04:29 AM.
