Hey everyone, 7 weeks now on my cutting phase and I'm not satisfied from what I see. I lost around 8 pounds but my problem areas are still there (lower belly fat, love handles and lower back fat).
I understand that I don't have enough mass in order to reveal an ideal physique (lack of abs and shoulders) and I should weight more than what I'm right now but I want to get rid these areas and then focus on lean bulk.
The dilemma that I have is from one side I want to get lower body fat by changing my approach of cutting with different diet maybe but from the other side I don't want to loose more weight because I don't know how I will look (probably not good). That's why I decided to post here for someone more experienced to help me.

Just stick with it man. Ignore the scale when the mirror is clearly showing you that you have more to lose.
There is definite progress from the before and after pictures to me, and the next 8 lbs will really tip you over the edge as a lot of the truly excess flab has gone, so you'll start seeing more definition with each extra lb lost.

A specific diet, extreme or otherwise, isn't necessary. Eating below your maintenance and hitting your macros is all that matters at the end of the day...if one diet strategy makes this easier for you, go for it, but there's not special diet that will do the work for you. True keto (no/very low carb) works in the short term but is very hard to sustain for long...but if you can cut out all carbs without cutting your calories too low, this can accelerate fat loss in the short term, but it's not fun. And your energy levels will tank at least for the first couple weeks so your workouts may be impacted...but I know from experience that it works, just like I said a pain in the ass.
