Most people I have encountered claim 2 inches taller than they are. Sometimes they seem to fraud just an inch. It’s rare they are honest. I am 5’7 and will drop below it at some point towards the end of my day. Yet most people my height will claim 5’8 or 5’8.5. Most 5’6 guys claim 5’8 and most 5’4-5’5 claim 5’6 should it’s like never ending frauding and it makes true 5’6-5’8 guys look particularly bad.

There have been several times I have claimed 5’8 and people don’t believe I am that short and claim I have to be taller. Even though truth is I am just 5’7. Guys will say “no you are taller than that” “I am 5’8 and you are taller than me” “you are taller than 5’8”. Nowadays I just say 5’7 and I don’t care what people think about it or how short/tall they perceive it to be.
