Hello everyone, i'm 1.95 meter /6,4 feet ,65 kg / 140 lbs and i want to gain weight i did some research online and i found that consuming optimum Nutrition Serious Mass and eating high calories food is a great way to gain weight but one thing i still don't understand is it a good idea to consume the gainer and the high calories food without working out, i know i will gain a lot of fat but i don't want to burn the calories that i've taken because like i said i want to gain weight.

You want to consume the same amount of calories on your training days and rest days.
The amount of fat gain is going to be dependent on how great of a caloric surplus you're in. If you want to try to minimize fat gains then don't get aggressive with your bulk. Rather eat about 250-500 calories over your maintenance.
It would be a good idea for you to head over to the nutrition section to get a starting number for the amount of calories you're going to need.

YES...you do!
If you go into a caloric surplus without working out...it most likely will ALL be bad weight...and wtf is the purpose of that? Is that what you really want?
As far as weight gainer....opt for whole food above all and use weight gainer/protein to meet needs not met through food.🌍 Talk is cheap, Actions are priceless 🌝

^^What all of those above me said. Start at some point with your caloric intake (while working out, for sure). If you find you're losing weight or staying the same, continue adding food until you notice weight gain. If you feel like at that point you can't really squeeze much more eating into your day but aren't seeing weight gain, I'd say add the gainer then. That's essentially what I had to do- I couldn't actually consume any more on the days I was working so I'd eat breakfast alongside a gainer shake and then one alongside my dinner. That's when I started finally noticing a significant difference. Turns out I had to have at LEAST 3500-3800 cals, but everyone's metabolism is different. Also as said above, definitely take a trip over to the nutrition section.
