I am 25 years old. I am 5'8 tall but I am seriously underweight. My weight is 53 kg or 117 lb. I look really skinny and I don't like it. I am having a hard time gaining weight even after trying to eat a lot. I can't work out too. I have a bad shoulder injury. My friends are recommending me to try weight gainers but I am not sure about that. I don't want a fat sticking out belly. I would rather stay skinny. So, can I go for a weight gainer without getting a fat belly.
P.S: I don't know much about supplements and nutrition.
P.P.S : I don't want a muscular body. I just want some decent weight without a fat belly.

If you're having difficulty forcefeeding enough "real" food in, then you can pursue a Gainer shake. There's plenty of options of making your own, using Whey/Casein/Blend with Nuts/Oils/Oats/Fruits/nut butters/etc. or you can purchase a premade one.
Are you intending on picking up any regular exercise/weight training? If you're training while taking in extra calories, it will go towards helping create lean tissue instead of fat mass (fat belly).

There are plenty of exercises you can do that shouldn't affect your shoulder. It would help in putting on lean mass as opposed to simply gaining fat around parts of your body.
Anyone here will tell you though that putting on weight is basic math, more calories consumed than burned. Clearly you have a high metabolism, and it may require a bit more of a push to consume enough to put on more weight (it was difficult for me at first, I did it incrementally). I personally had to start tracking what I was eating day to day because I thought I was consuming a lot more than I actually was. It would also help you figure out what that approximate threshold of calories consumed you'd have to hit to actually put weight on.
I definitely suggest checking out the stickies in this Nutrition section though, it will likely answer a lot of questions you have/fill in the knowledge gap.
