For those of you that think your rack is too shallow

Walked past weight room where my wife was squatting this morning.... WTF are you doing? She had my Kabuki bar set on top of the Rogue mono where I had it set for BP, got under it walked it back and proceeded to squat in the 10 1/2" between the counter weight and the rear uprights!!!! Holy ****.

She doesn't like messing with the mono, 30# hinged piece of steel is a PITA for her as she only weighs about 100#. Supposed to come get me lol. Also cautioned her about the indestructible knurl cutting through the frame of the mono.

Ever notice how close women like to sit to the steering wheel while driving? Now THAT is close. lol.

Jealous that your wife likes to lift. Wish mine shared similar interests as I do. Would make 'family' time that much more enjoyable.

A lifting wife is a happy life.

your going to have to buy her own barbell something in a cerakote finish so she knows the correct bars to use. IIRC this is a ongoing problem.

Better yet this is equipment forum she needs her own rack bar and a 300lb weight set so she can get strong.

Assuming there's room and she isn't going blazingly heavy she could just squat outside the rack. I even have safeties for the outside. That said this is the 1 advantage of Rogue's oversized RML 690. Even with Monos on one side you can squat or press inside the main section just on the other side.

But it would have been even cooler had she used a 50 lb dumbbell instead.
