Random bump...watched Be Cool for the first time in probably like 10 years, has The Rock in it, probably came out sometime after he left WWE but before his Tooth Fairy times. He plays a gay bodyguard, really hilarious movie. If you like comedies check it out.

Never heard of MacGruber until this thread. After searching the trailer it looks decent.
Over The Top
Rocky 3
Troy
300
The Punisher (2004)
Also Rock movies should not count nah. Dwayne is the most successful actor and it does put every other wrestler who’s had movie roles at an unfair disadvantage.
Anyone like John cenas role in that one Amy Schumer movie? It kind of gave me a chubby.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

We were not "Girlie Men" back then man. SJW's had no hope. Ronald Reagan was president and there was no participation medal.
Rocky III showed it all. It was showing "Heel Hulk" as it wasn't the prayer's vitamins and training.
Anyway, this will dated me but "Paradise Alley" with Funk and Stallone, No Holds Barred was fun sure, but yeah, it was fun. "Hulk Hogan's Rockin Wrestling" and "No Holds Barred" were great. But dudes, as an adult it goes to "Paradise Alley" and I do make sure to watch "They Live" at least once a month.*Cardinals, Blues, Chiefs, MLS *

Why? He is making lots of money and is an amazing box office draw, but his movies tend to be mostly terrible.
The critical acclaim and cult status of movies like They Live, Rocky 3, Guardians of the Galaxy or even 300 will easily have more actual fans than his entire body of work combined.
He was by far the funniest thing on there. His character was a total miscer. When he was gone and the actual love story with the Saturday Night Live guy started, the movie became an unwatchable well...Trainwreck.Last edited by I3igAl; 10-26-2019 at 03:27 AM.

Nah but Rock is a movie star. He’s actually a Hollywood actor and it’s what he does for a living. Anyone else they’re just wrestlers in movies. Rock is an a-list movie star nobody can compete with him outside of wrestling lol.
Yea I figured but there was a movie with Amy called Snatched that was OKAY imo. Goldie hawn is always amazing actress though whom I’d banged way ahead of the younger Schumer. So I don’t mind that particular movie because of Goldie hawn.
But yea you confirmed what I thought which is John cena is the best part of train wreck.BLM (Brock Lesnar Matters)

I absolutely LOLd when he was in the theater and called the other guy Koko B. Ware. Like, who in the general audience is going to to get that reference
Aside from the greatest film in cinematic history, No Holds Baaaaaarrrrrrggggghhhgghhbed, I'll go with The Rundown since I don't think it's been mentioned yet. Rock was awesome in it, there's an Arnold cameo, Stifler Co-stars, and Walken is the villain.
Almost all of Austin's movies were basically the same, but they were pretty entertaining. Simple formula: he's a badass and don't **** with him. Not much artistic theater, but fun, and I'm not usually into that type of movie.
The Chaperone w/HHH was surprisingly not horrid. I mean, it kinda was but I found it decent enough to sit through. Far from a favorite but I figure most aren't aware of it so I should mention it.
edit: They Live is another top choice for sure. Piper's other movies weren't bad either but they generally get overlooked.Last edited by StinnerOzz; 01-13-2021 at 12:01 PM.

I think we should ***OFFICIALLY*** count all Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson movies from when he first started drifting out of WWE and into movies in 2002/2003/2004ish till around 2011ish. From when he left WWE till he did the Fast & Furious in 2011 he was well known but not a major star (as far as a I know, but I was still pretty young so older people would know better).
After all, they weren't chanting Rocky last week they were chanting Tooth Fairy!
Also, Yep I saw Trainwreck and John Cena was easily the funniest one in the movie, I only saw it once but even Tony Romo was good in it from what I recall, funniest thing is the athletes did a better job at being funny that Amy Schumer despite her being a "comedian".
