When a new member asks a question or advice, answer it, and don't ask them a million other questions. This only prevents them from returning. Age, weight, calories, etc should not be discussed unless they ask

I would like to see company reps allowed to review products again. Positive reviews only, if you didn't enjoy the product keep it to yourself

It would be nice to see some of the old members return, maybe lifts the bans and give them another chance?

When a thread gets spicy it usually gets closed. Adding a private section to continue the discussion would be a great feature

Last but not least, we need to combine the supplement section with another section to generate more attention/views

seriously tho, yeah I wouldn't just off and recommend anything to anyone especially if they have no idea what's going on. although something as innocent as "add creatine" or "add a protein powder" is sometimes sufficient to get them moving towards the deep end of the pool....

Good mobile app. The mobile page is terrible and even the desktop page isn't that good on a mobile browser. It half-loads, I think it's done and try to click on something, and then it loads more you end up clicking on something completely different.

The notifications when quoted suggestion would be nice.

Something needs to be done about the Promo/Reviews section. Unfortunately, I don't have good suggestions on how to fix it due to the legal issues they've run into in the past.

I'd like to see the mindless shilling stop, as well as the mindless parroting, but I don't think anything is going to be able to be fixed there, unfortunately. That's a user problem, not problem that can be controlled from outside, without censoring/banning tons of people which will just cause even more issues.

Boost morale, the comments that ppl leave are sometimes hilarious or encouraging. But by creating more work for them to change it they would probably fuk it up like bodyspace and all it’s glitches anyways so maybe you’re right, leave well enough alone.

or at the very least give the ability to retract the reps you handed out (positive or negative)....sometimes I rep someone who then turns out to be a total a-hole later...but I can't neg them... I dunno...

First and foremost let me just start by saying I absolutely LOVE this place. It's "home" to me and I honestly think I'm one of the longest (if not the longest) tenured every day poster on these forums.

But I have to admit, this place has really hit the skids over the past few years and not to be negative, but I can think of 5 to 10 reasons right off the top of my head.

1. No Mobile App - The one that did work (which was some old 2010-ish) workaround app we were all using ... no longer works either. So now nothing works.

2. Ban Hammer - Sure it's fun at first, but in the end you ended up p!ssing off all the knowledgeable people and forcing them to go elsewhere. And then they never came back. At one time we had some of the industries greatest minds posting here, debating ingredients, debating what works and what doesn't ... and that made these boards AMAZING. Then someone got the bright idea to ban everyone and that was that ...

3. Infractions - I mean we all push the BB.com Cyberstore (we really do). But let's be honest, the internetz has become a VERY big place with a ton of competition. So we talk about what is on sale here, and what is on sale other places. Except there's a catch, you discuss those other places and BOOM! Infraction. I mean I have some myself. And I eat, sleep, breath, die for this place. But always getting dinged for things your not even trying to do (happens to me) is just juvenile.

4. Pay to Play - I don't know who's bright idea it was to make the workout programs and some articles on here a membership only thing but they were free for 15+ years. And now, in late 2017- early 2018 you make people pay to access the articles??!??? When there are a million and one other sites that are FREE?!!?? Terrible idea, and great way to turn people off instantly.

5. Help for Newbies - Instead of welcoming new people (and actually helping them and hoping they come back) people are normally rude to them, sarcastic, etc. And that's not right. We should have a welcome template (that gives links to stickies, nutritional links, etc.) we give out to them rather than sarcastic advice.


I could honestly go on for days but honestly just typing that much started to tick me off. That's how passionate I am about this place and how great it once was, to how badly it has become

Except...maybe since people won't usually pay, they are saved from all the bad advice in many of those articles so it's actually a good thing?


But really I'd get rid of the pay feature there, and I'd convince some of the board folks to write an article format for stuff to go on the main site. Get davis to write up Fierce5 for the main site for example. Get some good stuff in there. Free

Forums are very antiquated unless you have a Forum App.

I don’t even use a desk or laptop anymore. I use my iPhone or iPad like many many people. BB.com is the single largest online supplement sales company (selling only supps etc) but somehow cannot make time, funds to build an app. Makes no sense. I get that forum members are a very small portion of sales but even if it helps generate .5-1, maybe 2% comp sales, it’s still growth and that’s millions.

Forum links to BB.com YouTube, IG etc

Highlight stickies or somehow make them more visible. Remove most of them, there are too many across the forums.

Could care less about debates. I say let them go or take out the debate portion and move to the supp misc. it’s always the same, science versus placebo

Why can't we discuss other deals out there? I understand that it's competition but bb.com used to be almost impossible to beat in prices. Now it's getting to be the opposite. Maybe consider a price match type of thing? I know that if I could've price matched things by having a quick chat with a rep I'd order more here.

I could get into that as well but why? I was exhausted just typing out the 5 things that I did and that's just taking a broad stroke over some of the problems.

Like Vaughn reiterated, forums are just a dying thing at this point (which I personally hate to see) and everything that could have done to prevent that wasn't done. I mean BB.com had a mobile app before a lot of other competitors did, so instead of building upon that they literally did away with it. That's like a cell phone company (like AT&T) selling off their mobile wireless network right now and buying up a LAN line company. I mean it doesn't take a genius to see which way the world is going ...


And like others said, you need to embrace the social media angle at this point. Instead of working apart from it, so much could be gained from working with it. I mean like others said, links off of ********, codes being posted there with links to the BB.com SuperStore, having links take you to our forums here, etc. But nothing like that is being done.

We are all living in 2018 and unfortunately this place is still doing business like it's 2004. Except with a quarter of the people they once had ...

I see some good points being made in here (mobile app being the top) and I also the same idiots posting that cause the problems that are contributing to the fall of the forum.

See what would help improve the forum, is these idiots just stopping the BS they push and "bad press is still press" crap. You know who are you are and you what you do and what you ask people who were on your team to do.

Be part of the solution and stop being part of the problem.
