Yes, the forums are losing their touch and influence unfortunately.

Some things that may make a difference though are the following in my opinion.

1. Update the search function as many have stated.
2. Upgrade the forums with more current functionality and someone link it into social media if possible.
3. Have some sort of live chat option. Without having to post and wait a certain amount of time before posting again.
4. Allow some of the former high end guys back who were banned. Not sure they'd return though as others have stated.
5. Give more flexibility to company reps. I believe this is already in the works from what i have seen recently which is great.

It would be pretty sweet to give us reps an even bigger role and allow users to Live Chat with us on any product questions or feedback on other things. Might be a dumb idea too, but I think it could be pretty cool!

Love this idea......not sure how much it would contribute to overall attrition on the forums, but I think it would be received very well.

Elimination of company reps so advice is unbiased & actually helpful. Which is what this whole forum is for. Misc is dying & the supplement section is one of the worst on the internet.

I got a response of "What?" to links to a write-up of almost 11K words and 550+ references by a rep with holocaust levels of rep points, so I was completely BTFO.

I stopped coming here because the place became less about supplements and more about keeping brands happy by hushing up critics and valid questions. The science section was removed, intelligent posters banned because they kept challenging a brand. Yes I get it bb.com is a store but how about actually letting the good formulas shift through the test of debate?

You removed freedom and thus no one felt like there was anything but ads and brown nosing for free stuff, reps and so forth.
