    Aiming to compete

    In roughly 100 weeks. It's a long term goal, but I'm preparing every day. Any advice? Is 100 weeks far enough out or should I even be thinking of competing that soon? Ignore the silly Charlie Brown face, just making fun of myself a little for being tired.

    What's your goal category? And what are you currently trying to do...ie bulk, cut, add size to specific parts?

    You are not doing bad at all! You could def compete sooner than 2 years from now, depending on the category or goal look you are tryiing to achieve

    Currently I'm focusing on building lean mass. So keeping body fat low but getting some more size. I can improve everywhere but specifically I'm trying to blow up my chest, biceps, traps, and quads, as they are where I need the most work. Ideally I'd like to compete in physique or aesthetics.

    I agree with you on what you are trying to build up. Think you could probably compete in a year and be competitive definitely

    Look good.
    If it's your first show and you enter a novice division you should do really well once you trim down.
    If your going in an open division and depending on the size of the show(local,regional,national) it's hard to say who's going to show up but your headed in the right direction.
    Keep training hard and stay on track with your diet.

    I agree with the above solid info. You look good and would definitely not be out of place competing.
    Personally, I wouldn't even worry about your placement in that first show. It's such a great learning experience. I learned so much and gained so much confidence during my prep and my first show.
    I know we all want to make a big splash our first appearance but it's more about learning for your 2nd, 3rd etc...

    Brb 100 weeks out lol but yeah you need more muscle tissue if you want to be "competitive". I think 1 year is a better goal for you since you are not a complete novice and have some muscle already, and as others stated, good learning experience if you want to make this a life-long sport.
