Hey guys,
I started comprehensive weight training 4-5 days a week a month back with absolutely no cardio. Following a bulking diet of 3000+ calories 40% protein 40% carb 20% fat as well.
One month progress shot is on the left, clear improvements but I'm really worried my abs aren't coming through even thought it's my main goal.
I'm doing ab exercises, aware they don't remove belly fat but I've been told to avoid cardio altogether for now?
Just after advice and rough timeframe when you think they'll start popping through
Cheers

Beltless squats and deadlifts help build a core. That with some iso ab work. But it is diet after muscle. Abs are tough. You have to be like 8 percent to show them and you also want some muscle to flex.

I guess I'm going to be the jerk here...but if you want an honest assessment, don't BS your pictures to try and impress us with your "progress".
In the before pic you slump your shoulders and stick out your belly. In the after pictures, your puffing out your chest and sucking in your gut. Your shoulder skelliton structure is magically wider and your nipple are magically further apart.
You can't get real advice without being honest.
