    Post Injury Workout

    Hello everyone,

Unfortunately, I have recently experienced an injury to my hand, where I tore to tendons and I am currently healing. I am typically a Hardcore gym rat, and I have very carefully Been doing resistance band workouts for my back and flies and press workouts where I put handles near my elbow to take off pressure on my rest. Just so everyone knows, I am being very careful to not re injure myself

My question is, Obviously I can't do my typical workouts such as bench presses and back workouts with bars. I won't be able to grab a barbell or dumbbell for 4 months and I'm wondering how long it will take to get my strength and vascularity back once I can start working out again. During my time of injury I will still be in the gym 6 days a week, but my workouts won't be as intense or efficient as usual.

Just to provide a little background, I have been going to the gym 6 days a week for the past 3 years. I appreciate the help any input would be very helpful .
