    How much creatine?

    I’m 180 pounds and i take cytogainer protein which gives you 4g of creatine per day plus my pre-workout, jym, gives me 2g of creatine per day...is this enough or should I take additional??

    That is plenty, aim for 3-5g of creatine daily.

    Creatine 101
    1- If youre concerned about what type...go with good ol Creatine Mono (does the job and cheap)
    2- 5g per day for approx. 30 days, 3-5g per day on workout days only thereafter
    3- Take whenever, with whatever....timing is irrelevant. (I personally do it pre workout only because its easy to remember everyday)
    4- Drink plenty of water
    5- do not need to cycle nor load

    I've always been huge into 10g creatine mono pre-workout but that was figured out by trial and error with myself over many many many years. I notice a drastic difference in fullness from 5-10g.

    This is the best advice out there. Especially drinking enough water.
    If you not feeling the burn your not pushing hard enough.

    Over the last 20 years the amounts have been debated and loading fazes were the in thing to do when creatine was becoming popular in the 90's. 3-5g is the trend these last few years, but everybody is different! try and experiment with different ranges to see what works best for you.
