    New Routine Help

So I have started to back up consistently at the gym again. I only get to go during my lunch break Monday - Thursday and then make it back Saturday morning when I can get someone to watch my daughter. So I want to really focus on a 4 day split and then throw in "extra" on a Saturday or really focus on cardio that day.

    Right now I am doing:
    Mon: Legs/Abs
    Tues: Back/Shoulders
    Wed: Bi/Tri
    Thurs: Legs/Chest
    Sat: Cardio

I'm having a difficult time getting everything in on Tuesday and also get really burned out quickly on my Tues & Wed workouts. Would it be better for me to do:

    Mon: Legs/Abs
    Tues: Back/Bi
    Wed: Shoulders/Tri
    Thurs: Legs/Chest
    Sat: Cardio

    Thank you!

How about instead of a split, you run a 3-day full body novice? Run it Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday. The full bodies usually consist of 2 different routines run ABA, BAB. So if you miss the Saturday, no big deal, you've still gotten 2 full body workouts in for the week. Then Tuesday (when you're pressed for time) and Thursday you can do cardio. This approach might help with the burn out as well.

Stickies above if you go this route.
