    BCAA or not? Please read and then answer.

    I know people say BCAAs are useless if your protein intake is enough or you're on a caloric surplus.
    I've had a good experience with one tub of mine in terms of soreness.

    Now the question is should I go for it? Since my diet is lacking sometimes so when it is, I can supplement it. What do you guys say?

    So you are saying your diet and training have been consistent all these months/years. Then recently you added BCAAs to your regime and it reduced your usual soreness?

    OP, use them when they count> intra-workout and when your protein intake is suffering. I highly doubt anyone in this section consumes enough protein daily not to use BCAAs

    Another vote for just taking in more protein. If you can recognize when your diet is lacking and when you can supplement it, just add in a protein shake.

    I would pick up a BCAA product if I was training fasted though.
