    Exclamation High lifting numbers does not equal good Physique

    I'm sick and tired of all these randoms on insta posting their lifting videos, like anyone cares about their lifting numbers.

    I lift for purely aesthetics idc about getting a 3 plate bench, if it happens it happens.

    Names such as:
    Ryan Casey
    Dylan McKenna
    Qwin
    David Laid
    Etc...

    All on roids, physiques aren't even that great. No one cares u can bench 3 plates for reps while taking they all claim natty.

    Brb ZYZZ had goat bod but didn't even lift heavy.

    I'm tired of the fitness industry scamming ppl with their programs and plans when they all tech and claim natty. What losers

    I do get very annoyed with phaggot bodybuilders and physique/aesthetic people posting boasting their lifting numbers and saying " got to lift the heavy weight to get big"

    no you ****ing dont, its the most broscience "I do it because its what i just came up with/copied/was told" ever. It amazes me the amount of even fitness coaches out there and competitors who do not understand the basic principles of lifting for hypertrophy based on science and actual recorded experiences/studies.

    getting bigger = progressive overload over time

    someone who benches 315 for reps is in most cases going to have bigger chest,shoulders and triceps than the person who can only rep out 220 on bench

    Volume is the key to a good physique... Powerlifting broscience is garbage...

    Lifting heavy is not impressive... if you do a small number of lifts and eat a lot and especially if you get on the OJ, you will have big numbers the vast majority of people wont achieve.

    High reps and volume with key emphasis on form and maximum muscle contraction = hypertrophy = muscle building

    Been benching around 225 since i started lifting, and it wasn't until i was benching that for reps for quiet a while that i started to look big. You aren't going to get a big chest or arms doing wimpy weight.

    Anyway, get strong on compounds like you're a powerlifter but still get the volume on those lifts, and do as much accessory work for lagging/smaller muscle groups, really not that difficult lol.

    David, dylan and qwin all built 90% of their bodies naturally, one or two may have jumped on a low dose in the last few months, they understand that for natties, if you want to put on muscle the most simple way is to add 50 pounds to your lift, keep lying to yourself doing endless slow reps, 'feeling the contraction' lifting the same weight week in week out that you are making progress and lifting for aesthetics lol.

    Btw zyzz was on copious amounts of gear and admitted it, whilst these guys are arguable lol.

    Meh, someone who benches 170 5x5 will probably be less big than someone who benches 275 5x5. lifting numbers isn't all there iss but it definitely counts

    Yes, strength training is a component of hypertrophy, you won't get far by lifting "light" 24/7, likewise you won't get far by lifting heavy all the time either. Increasing weight is not the only way to achieve a good physique. I'm not talking about powerlifting btw, that's another topic.

    Progressive overload has and will always be a fundamental training principle, but increasing weight is only one aspect of said principle. Brb less break duration, Brb more reps, brb more time under tension, brb increase or decrease concentric, brb increase eccentric time, brb more sets. Theres more but **** it research it yourself.

    I've seen natties with respectable numbers but look like complete ****. I've also seen natties with lower numbers but look amazing. The difference there is one uses weight as their primary benchmark, while the others use said methods above ^, with weight as secondary.

    Only a retard would say 'progressive overload' and only associate that with weight. Don't forget mechanical tension and metabolic stress. Achieve all of these in your routine and you'll ge there.

    its because in that range you are most likely using everything in your repertoire to move the weight rather than work the intended muscle so form and muscle contraction get compromised

    brb benching 315 for 3 reps to really work those front delts and triceps
    brb curling 50 pound dumbells and using everything but the biceps to move the weight
    brb deadlifting 405 and getting an insane trap pump but complaining I have no lats
